Silence No More! Defend Dr. Ben Carson From The Pro Gay Thought Police!

Dr. Ben Carson is an inspiration by every measure. He was born in Detroit Michigan and grew up in the harsh inner city. His mother only had a third grade education but she pushed her son to excel and worked 3 jobs as a single Mom to give him and his brother a leg up even though she could barely read. He credits his Mom, God, and hard work for his success.

He went from being a poor child in an inner city community with poor grades to rise to honors and then go on to medical school and now has risen to be one of the best neurosurgeons in the world and the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins specializing in the separation of conjoined twins.

Now Dr. Carson is under attack. Why is he under attack? He dared to affirm traditional marriage and the belief that though people are free to live how they wish that no one has the right to redefine it.

"Marriage is between a man and a woman," Carson said. "It's a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality -- it doesn't matter what they are, they don't get to change the definition."

A student group, the Health and Human Rights Student Group, is now trying to silence Dr. Carson and have him removed as commencement speaker simply because he affirmed marriage and did not speak highly of homosexuality. He was not vulgar, he was not hateful, he simply expressed an opinion and has even apologized to those that expressed that they were offended though he maintained his clear unwavering support of marriage. Isn't it time for this kind of thing to STOP?

Homosexual activists and their supporters routinely say the most horrid vulgar obscene things about their opponents. They are not polite and their arguments usually devolve in to allegations of bigotry and profanity and then they even get invited to the White House. Gay activist Dan Savage was one of these. Schools like Yale routinely have porn stars and politicians that compare our soldiers to Nazis speaking on their campus but some how a black man who rose from nothing is not acceptable because he spoke his mind and offended some homosexual activists who seem to think them being offended is grounds for making someone a social and professional outcast.

Let's send them a message and give them a lesson on free speech something they have not cornered the market on. Here is the link to the Health and Human Rights Student Group. Please make you voice heard and stand up for Dr. Carson. Stand up! Silence No More!

“Judge a man not by his friends, but by his enemies.”

Dr Carson wins, the Gaystapo loses.

Here’s the thing, though. He apologized for comparing homosexuality to bestiality. He has to learn to defend himself.

His comparison was right on target and he should never have apologized. I’m sick to death of the contrition which flows from people on our side.

Notice how the media reports this? Its reported as if the sentiment at John Hopkins is monolithic because a small group of liberal students is circulating a petition against him.

Did you read his apology? He did not retreat from his defense of marriage. If we cant stand in defense of him & take the opportunity to use this to generate backlash against ssm then we deserve to los on this and other issues.

I did read it. He apologized for comparing homosexuality with bestiality, but reiterated his defense of marriage, as you say.

That’s part of the problem, as I see it. Some conservatives will still defend marriage, but when it comes to the wrongness of homosexuality itself, they either keep silent, or are quick to show contrition if they let something slip. Dr. Carson was right to compare the two; they’re both unnatural perversions.

Part of the reason we’re about to be socked with something as unthinkable as sodomite marriage is because people lost the will and the courage to call homosexuality exactly what it is.

He’s number one on the journ-0-list attack agenda.

Nothing scares liberals like an honest black patriot.

I am too old for “fear” of what they say about me and I am armed with knowledge and God.

But most people are so very afraid their friendships will be destroyed—even family relationships—because the Left has control over the Language-—and therefore, creates the “perceptions” of the ignorant. Most people are terrible ignorant, due to the unconstitutional public schools and they believe lies.

Education—truth-—is the enemy of the left. That is why Pot killed anyone who wore glasses. Ideas are dangerous and truth is powerful. PC is to shut down all debate of ideas-—and schools condition children to be conformists—think like they are told and the “group” think.

The internet is the most powerful tool-—the Matrix has been here for a hundred years.....we are feeling the final squeeze now and the Left is getting scared because truth is available now to the masses. They are working to shut down the internet and speech with “hate speech” codes (unconstitutional).

You make a good point and one that I’ve come around to myself. I believe we are on the verge of breaking free so to speak. I think one of the reasons that there is such a push by some of these leftist groups now is they realize that the window is short. Media is clearly becoming more individualized and within another decade the idea of buying only what you like and consuming from highly tailored sources will be even more dominate. The big papers will continue to lose influence as will the big networks. We will see even a greater push to control the media through a fairness doctrine but I believe that will become impossible. Also homeschooling is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. So there is a possible light ahead.

There is a pendulum and also history can easily shift. Its going to get tough but people don’t like bullies and I have a feeling eventually things will be pushed too far whether through the vehicle of fiscal collapse or some other trigger. A lot of the left wing crap and soft thinking that we have to deal with would disappear in an instant under the right conditions.

I agree. They are scared——because the “truth” is impossible to shut down and there is power in truth.

AND because they are scared they are becoming desperate-—and extremely dangerous. They have no morality and are apt to do anything-—including killing millions of us. This war of Good and Evil has existed since the beginning of history though. It is nothing new-—it is just the technology is getting to the point of being very scary.

It scares me that we are losing touch with people like Dr. Ben Carson who are able to accurately identify Truth and wisdom in the midst of a slew of insidiously misleading propaganda. They are not bothering to speak out as much because the world is going in such an appallingly ignorant direction that the truly intelligent and aware consensus is becoming, “Why bother trying to fix a thoroughly corrupted state; where would one even begin to approach sharing light with minds of such loopy reasoning?” It’s like trying to verbally teach a clam that if he had eyes, he could see the color green... Anyway, I wish I could somehow share any strength I may have with him when he is confronted with sensational media rhetoric designed to purposely mislead and serve as stumbling blocks. The most we can hope to do at this point is stick to black and white objective facts that clearly back positions. IN any other case, things always turn into an opinion based argument where sides are chosen between the lesser of two supposed evils (one being over judgmental and the other being completely hedonistic). He should stick to: the institution of what we currently refer to as marriage, is one inextricably defined by certain specifics. The basis of his argument at this time should be one of proper classification and definition. If a new association between partners demands to be investigated, then do that and make provisions based on the NEW SET of criteria. This would be better than calling a house rental agreement, a constitutionally defined, “marriage,” between man and house, yaknow?!
