Care to count how many fine “Christians” you can find on this thread?

Of course the left will try to vilify Carson and most conservatives will happily make it clear that blacks belong on the plantation and tell them to stay there.

I don't think that is the point that I, and some others were making...it has nothing to do with being Christian.

Looking at that thread you pointed me to, those same people complaining in it overwhelmingly voted for Obama, and would likely vote for him again if he ran for a third term, and would likely do it solely on the basis of their skin pigmentation.

And the truth is, there is a large segment of the black community that would do just that.

The posts I read are, in my opinion, directed largely towards people who full well would fit the description I just gave above.

It is a a fact that a large proportion of people (both black and white) voted for Obama on the sole basis of his color. The last part of the linked article says: "...Meantime, it is becoming increasingly self-evident that black leaders are getting fed up with the economic results of Obama's presidency. For the first time, they have begun to question and to criticize some of the economic policies that he still defends but that they now know aren't working..." If you look at the people in that article, every single one of them, without fail would vote for him AGAIN knowing FULL well how badly those policies have failed.

But that has no bearing whatsoever on the point that I made, and is, by and large, the point of this particular thread: If you are a person of color and speak out against the liberal policies espoused by the Democratic Party in general and the Obama Administration in particular, you WILL be viewed as a traitor to your race. No ifs, ands or buts about it. That is 100% verifiable fact.

My point is, in the context of this current thread, your post didn't seem to me to have any bearing. I simply thought your post was a non-sequitor.
