Legislation that would award the injured from the 2009 Fort Hood shooting the Purple Heart would adversely affect the trial of Maj. Nidal Hasan by labeling the attack terrorism, according to a Defense Department document obtained by Fox News.
The document comes following calls from survivors and their families for the military honor, because they say Fort Hood was turned into a battlefield when Hasan opened fire during the November 2009 attack. Fox News is told that the DOD “position paper” is being circulated specifically in response to the proposed legislation.

Here's the most disgraceful thing the DOD memo states:
“The Army objects to (the proposal) because it would undermine the prosecution of Major Nidal Hasan by materially and directly compromising Major Hasan’s ability to receive a fair trial. This provision will be viewed as setting the stage for a formal declaration that Major Hasan is a terrorist, on what is now the eve of trial. Such a situation, prior to trial, would fundamentally compromise the fairness and due process of the pending trial,” the document said.
Now the Army, my former service, on the Illegal's orders, has just sabatoged the case against Hasan by saying he will not get a fair trial if Congress votes to give the Ft. Hood soldiers and families the compensation and recognition they're legally and morally entitled to. Never in my entire career as a lawyer have I seen a side so deliberately undermine its own case. IOW the Illegal and his accomplices have committed treason by giving aid and comfort to to one specific enemy of the United States, Hasan, and by generally giving aid and comfort to our Mudslime terrorist enemies.
Well now calling terrorism committed by a terrorist terrorism just will not do, that is just not fair to the terrorist.

There will never be a trial of Major Hasan. Some very politically inconvenient facts uncovered by Army investigators will not go well with the new gay friendly policies of the Obama administration and just might influence a Supreme Court justice or two. Ever wonder why this thirty five year old man could never find a wife “devout” enough, wore effeminate clothing and all his life entered professions and embraced an intolerant religion in a futile attempt to deal with his homosexuality?
Sure, and anyone who was injured by an enemy not yet in custody can wait for their Purple Heart until we catch the suspect.

If nothing else, this should be a lesson to all of us ... that if you're really interested in defending your country, the last thing you should do is join the U.S. military.
The one thing the Illegal and his accomplices wouldn’t do is accuse Hasan, that putrifying, evil piece of pig shit, of being the terrorist and traitor he so totally, obviously is. The trial for terrorism and treason would have been a slam dunk, given the massive eye witness and physical evidence. The Illegal hasn’t gone that way for one reason: he intends to give massive aid and comfort to his coreligionist Mudslimne enemies of the United States. The Illegal is a traitor who should be impeached, convicted, booted out of office, and prosecuted for treason.

And is the DoD saying that if, say, a group of enemy illegal enemy combatants enters the US and attacks military personnel. . .that is not an act of war? Is the DoD saying that those injured or killed should not receive combat recognition for fighting the terrorists? Is the DoD saying that if an ememy makes it to the US then they are no longer an enemy combatant but a criminal?
Another obstacle thrown down by the Islam-loving POTUS. Another slap in the face to the victims’ family members. Another reason the terrorist Hasan will never be tried for his atrocious crimes.
If the court-martial is formally convened, it will open up a scandal that will shake the military & society worse than the Dreyfus affair a century ago. The military chain of command is up to their PC eyeballs in enabling this muzzie b@stard and allowing him to proceed toward his bloody deed and they don’t want this trial to happen. Ever.
Granting the Purple Heart to the victims, posthumously or not, would give serious ammunition to the view that this was an act of jihadi terrorism and nothing less.
DOD has acted despicably and with the gall to put their insult to the survivors on paper. I’ll even bet the soldiers have been warned not to dare discuss the Fort Hood Jihad Massacre.

Appallingly, that is exactly what DOD is saying, FTA:
The Defense Department document says that to expand the Purple Heart criteria to include “domestic criminal acts or domestic terror attacks would be a dramatic departure” from traditional criteria.
By that standard no purple hearts should have been given out at Pearl Harbor, because the attack was a domestic attack on American soil. Indeed, no service member who was injured or killed on 9/11 should have received a purple heart because 9/11 was every bit as much a "domestic terrror attack."
To repeat myself: The entire handling of this case is TREASON, INSTIGATED BY THE ILLEGAL, WHO IS A TRAITOR.
I would ask the same watchers how each would feel if one of his or her family members in one of the uniformed services was murdered by a traitor and terrorist, in the very act of treason and terrorism, and was treated like used toilet paper by the Illegal, just the way the Ft. Hood heroes have been. How do you really feel about serving that evil man and his accomplices??
