Entertainment Television (BET) founder Bob Johnson said Tuesday that the nation would “never tolerate white unemployment at 14 or 15 percent” and yet unemployment for the black community has been double that of white Americans for over 50 years.
“This country would never tolerate white unemployment at 14 and 15 percent. No one would ever stay in office at 14 or 15 percent unemployment in this nation, but we’ve had that double unemployment for over 50 years,” Johnson said while speaking at the National Press Club about the gap between whites and blacks in America.

I wonder if Ben understands that 95% of them unemployed Blacks give 100% support to the problems and only 50% or so of Whites give that same support. The folks he claims to support are a big part of the problem - they keep believing the lies because it leads to the easier, softer way of leeching off the rest of us. By his reckoning, Dims should be out of power for the next 50 years for what they have done.

Yeah, so you re-elected President Fairness. He wants the whole nation at 15% unemployment.
The difference is whites will start the process of investing fairly young - buying a house they can afford - living within their means - waiting to get married until they can afford to support themselves, driving older cars they can afford... etc.
Studies have shown blacks making the EXACT income as whites will be worth LESS at every age - their net worth much lower... the willingness to delay gratification is one of the cultural factors.
And jobs? Jobs aren't 'given' to people - the head of BET must know that - jobs are 'earned' on a daily basis... The only place jobs are 'given' is government - and government has overwhelmingly large numbers of blacks - in comparison to population.
Here's the solution for blacks: study, graduate, get a job, get married, have children, live within your means, save money, and invest YOUR OWN money in YOUR OWN future.
Most black counties in the world, most black cities in the country - are poor because they've got the mindset that someone needs to GIVE them a JOB or GIVE them some money, or GIVE them an education because they DESERVE the same as people who work to get a job, save their own money, and struggle to get an education even in bad schools.. (yes, horrible inner city schools that blacks resent tend to graduate Asian students who go on to college and success - it's NOT just the schools...).
The black cultural mindset is the problem. Until that's changed there's isn't enough stuff to GIVE them that will satisfy them. Not enough tutors, not enough social workers, not enough 'programs', not enough drug counselors, not enough 'breaks' on housing, loans etc. The black community needs to get real - and yeah, the rest of us are getting a little tired of the endless pity party.
