Bjorn Lomborg claimed on John Stossel's television show last night that money isn't being spent well to combat "global warming":
"The Germans are spending about $110 billion on subsidies for these solar panels," said Lomborg. "The net effect of all those investments will be to postpone global warming by 37 hours by the end of the century."
"All those billions, for 37 hours delay?," asked Stossel.
"Yeah," said Lomborg, "so remember them in [the year] 2100 and say, 'Wow.'"
Stossel clarified, "You believe in global warming and man-made--"
"Global warming is real," said Lomborg, "and it is we need to fix. But we should fix it smartly, and not in a very, very costly way as we're doing it now. Germany is probably spending $660 for every ton of CO2 they're cutting."
Clearly, not enough. They need to step it up and get serious about fixing this problem. Is a quadrillion too much to ask??

Government subsidies squander capital and lead to poverty. The “Green” movement is weakening the entire EU and eroding Western culture. Its all neo pagan earth worshiping nonsense.
Any time you see a Global Warming proponent who has managed to rise above the average idiot-kook-alarmist stage, one that involves media actually listening to and responding with on a continual basis, you have to realize there is MONEY involved. A hell of a lot of it.

As in the US, the money is being spent to buy the votes of fools. Given the vote buying as the primary motive you should easily see that despite the failure of these programs to have any effect whatsoever on the climate they are, in fact, wildly successful.

Even if there was such a thing as global warming, it’s doubtful that they are saving any energy. First you have to build the factories to build the panels. Then you have to build the panels. Then you have to truck them to their destination and install them. Then you have to dispose of them in the proper green way. Then you have to install batteries and other equipment in your house in order to make any use of them. Then you have to replace and dispose of the batteries from time to time. . . .
And on and on. By the time you add all that up, it’s doubtful whether you save any energy at all.

Come 2100 the greedy scam scum will have an excuse as to why global warming hasn’t come and done its dastardly deeds. It’s like the boogie man in a fairytale, and the general public of the world can’t grow up to see that fear mongers are telling the tales.
The global warming hoax goes on and on. Would the hoax stop if one particular person spoke out? Who could that person be?
Obviously, the leftists in other countries let their legislators throw money down idiotic black holes, as well. It isn’t just OUR legislators!
