The cliches, bromides, platitudes, banalities of the Help Industry will be repeated endlessly, as if they were original thoughts.
Home is the place where they always have to take you in, and will. I don’t remember who said it first, I heard it second hand, the Lake Wobegon guy, Wayne Dyer, or perhaps Kurt Vonnegut. No matter, it is true. Once you lose that “Home”, you become homeless. Alcoholism follows, because it is not in such cases the cause of homelessness, but often enough its result. Howard Hughes died homeless, as did Greta Garbo. Perhaps you have to have been there, as comfortable middle class asses have not (been there), to begin to understand the place where Mr Anthony Madonna (go ahead Captain Obvious, correct me again!) finds himself.

I remember that discussion without having to look at the thread. I still cannot believe how many freepers were willing to ignore the facts and trounce on the Ciccone family for the choices they have made. Pretty obvious who has never had to deal with and addict of long, long standing...
