Please go to the article at the Gateway Pundit and forward it to your Twitter and Facebook friends. Doctor Raoul deserves to have his story known beyond Free Republic.
Doctor Raoul will be laid to rest on Monday. Many of his FRiends will be there to pay our respects and to say thanks one last time. He was only 58.
The Dr. is in!
RIP, to a great American patriot.
Not only we at Free Republic, but all patriotic Americans will miss Doctor Raoul. He was one of a kind. The best kind.
This is a beautiful tribute. Thanks kristinn.
He made a difference and I will never forget the reports of his FReeping.
Thanks for posting this tribute. He was one of the greatest Freepers ever.
I make sad note that AGreatPer is mentioned in the "she's standing on a box" anecdote. May they both Rest in Peace.
Is Heaven assembling a protest team?
Wonderful tribute to a great American and great Freeper. But I repeat myself...
Oh Kristinn, I would so love to be there Monday. The good Doc inspired our little group here in Missouri and his AAR’s were always the berries. We’ll miss him terribly. Also, thank you Kristinn for all your help over the years.
This is really depressing news, Kristinn. Seems like we’ve lost quite a few good Freepers in the last year or so, and Dr. Raoul was one of the best. Prayers for his family, and also for Dr. Raoul’s soul.
There was a great post I remember from the Clinton years. A reporter from CNN was trying to do a story from the White House. Somebody yelled “Hey camera man! Pan down so you can show Clinton’s hand up his a** working his jaw!” . Sounds like something the good Doctor would have done.
A fitting tribute to Doctor Raoul. Please be sure the family sees this thread.
[Mr] T
RIP, Dr. Raoul. You made a difference.
Thanks so much for posting this thread! Doing a Florida ping here as know very many would want to join the tribute to the one and only Dr Raoul.
I did not know Dr. Raoul but had seen his posts long enough that as soon as I saw that name, I knew it was going to be good.
I am sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace. I recall being at a White House protest in 1999.
Was the time of my life.
I recall doing the Cops Cheer and mocking Nora O’Donnell while she was doing a piece from “the swamp”. We were singing a riff on the battle hymn of the republic which was clearly audible on the report to which she address us as “patriotic” because she simply could not speak to the words.
He will be sorely missed.
WOW...
RIP to a great patriot.
Thank You for sharing this wonderful tribute.
Thanks, Kristinn!
A fitting tribute to a great freeper, one whom we’ll all miss, Dr. Raoul!
Rest in Peace, Dr. Raoul! You have been a great man!
Thank you, so very much, for posting this tribute to Doctor Raoul. I attended several FR events but I never had the honor of meeting this good man. I recall reading his posts but I’ve learned so much more about him through this tribute. I know he will rest in peace because he was an honest man and a patriot. Condolences to his family and friends. Thank you, Doctor Raoul, for your courage and love of our great country.
Dr. Raoul's energy and commitment was both inspiring and life-altering to so many of us who witnessed his passion. He served to give many of us the courage to stand up for what was wrong, and to actually speak out in public....something we would usually be most hesitant to do!
While he often chose a comical way of presenting himself as a critic of a variety of issues, those who knew him realized that there was brilliance behind his signs and costumes. He was a genius who needed to express himself. He was a patriotic American who saw what was wrong and tried to speak out.
Kristinn, you have been no less instrumental in countless ways. You have also spent years of your time and money confronting what is wrong. Like Dr. Raoul, you have inspired all of us with your dedication, courage, intelligence, and sense of purpose. Everyone here knows this. Thank you for being the American patriot that you truly are.
And, thank you for this memorable tribute to Dr. Raoul. He will always be remembered.
Know of my gratitude and respects to all who work as hard as the Doctor and You in front of and behind the scenes....... just sorry I didn’t thank Raoul before he passed away......
Prayers for the good Doctor , his family, his friends and freepers.....
Kristinn,
Thanks for your efforts in reminding us what a great FReeper Doctor Raoul was. My condolences and prayers for the family.
