Obama back on golf course after spending outcry from GOP

(CNN) — Nearly a month after forced spending cuts prompted some Republicans to call on President Barack Obama to cease his weekend golf outings, the commander-in-chief returned to the links for a springtime round Saturday.

**SNIP**

“The president will use up more Secret Service time guarding him while he golfs than it would take to keep the White House tours open all year,” Newt Gingrich, the former House speaker, said earlier this month on CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.”

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, submitted legislation which would make it illegal for Obama to use federal funds for commuting to and from golf outings until the White House resumes tours. Reopening the White House for tours would only cost “one or two golf trips less” for Obama, he argued.

What a useless gesture.

Good luck getting this legislation through the Senate or getting Obuba to sign it in to law.

The only purpose this bill has is to embarrass the president in the press and the press is unlikely to report on it give its real purpose.

Doesn’t matter. The monkeys that voted for this clown only want a democRAT in office. He could get caught having sex with an intern in the white house and it would be no big deal. Wait! Didn’t that already happen?

Given that media has reported the Gohmert bill, what is your downside?

The jerk in the White House takes every chance he can get to try to embarrass conservatives. I see no reason at all why legislation can't be introduced that hits him right in the middle of the 18th fairway.

I certainly do not have a problem with congressional Republicans embarrassing Obama. I just don’t think it is likely to have any discernable effect.

The White House Press Corp is populated with Obama’s minions of reporters completely cowed in fear to the point they won’t ask an embarrassing question.

But a better way to waste time is to produce legislation that would repeal some regulations. How about another bill o repeal Obama Care.

Not to worry. Your friend Boehner killed it so you don't have to be worried about being embarrassed.

Politicians think they look “tough” when they propose laws like that. Instead, they look like the little loser bookworms they are. You want make a scene? Go golfing with him and walk off the course halfway through and go to a press conference calling him out to be the loser he is.

Ridicule him, and any one who golfs with him. Endlessly. In public. And use the most direct and non PC language possible.

After a couple of hours, enough to probably play nine holes, Obama had his motorcade whisk him to the Verizon Center sports arena, where Syracuse defeated Marquette to advance to the semifinals of the National Collegiate Athletic Association men's basketball tournament.

Well, after he "probably" went golfing with his buddies, he went to see a basketball game with Reggie Love:

Obama and Love

I wonder why Reggie is around when he wife and kids aren't?

That’s the point he’s trying to make. Anyone who has known or observed any of the “street hustler” dudes, knows that they double down on the “in yo face outrageous” when their hustle is rebuked. Its all about intimidation.
