A young mother pushing her baby boy in a stroller was repeatedly stabbed in Dorchester this afternoon, police and witnesses said.
Boston Police said a woman was stabbed on Midland Street around 4 p.m.
The mother, who appeared to be in her early 20s, then ran around the corner, still pushing her stroller, before she collapsed in front of an ice cream shop on Savin Hill Avenue, said Savin Scoops owner Joe Conway.
“She was stabbed pretty badly,” said Conway. “There was blood all over the stroller.”
