Most Easter church services dwell on three words: “He is risen!”
At the church that President Obama chose to attend on Easter, the three words were a bit different: “You’re a racist!”
Obama attended St. John’s Episcopal Church in DC, and according to the pool reporter, Rev. Luis Leon launched into at least one racist tirade.
“It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back … for blacks to be back in the back of the bus … for women to be back in the kitchen … for immigrants to be back on their side of the border.”
It was Democrats who forced black Americans to the back of the bus during Jim Crow. No one is doing that now. No one is arguing for the second, either, and unless Rev. Walker wants all US borders erased, then there are sound reasons for respecting those borders. But facts haven’t mattered in America since 2008.
Question: Since Rev. Leon is using the pulpit in a partisan political attack, why isn’t his church’s tax-exempt status under investigation? Will the church report the sermon as an in-kind donation to the Democrats?
Obama has mostly avoided going to church during his tenure. Then he does go to church, and finds a preacher who gets political, like Obama’s 20-year mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, got political. What a coinkidink.
Eh, Obama probably didn’t hear Rev. Leon either.
“You will know them by their fruit”.
Like Clinton, they only go to church for photo ops. Clinton went when his butt was in a sling. I don’t think he’s been in a church since unless it was at a memorial service. Even then he hung around out front till everyone had left. He wanted all the face time he could get.
Well Obama doesn’t find a convincing person who he can at least fake it with that he is christian. He goes to anti-American race hustlers and pimps for communism.
If you folks don’t think that Obama set this whole charade up in advance of his church attendance with this nutcase pastor...you are smoking too much reefer!!!!
When I was going to school in the 1970’s, all the black kids chose to sit in the back of the bus, chose to sit at their own lunch tables and chose to play in their own handball courts.
Their was a single black guy from Jamaica called Everton who sat and played with the whites and was my best friend for three years.
You would need to first force the black kids to be desegregate before you could segregate them.
In all fairness (and I am LOATH to defend that commie), but this is the same church that Presidents have attended for 200 years.
However, what is wrong with DC that they would place such a man in a church position like this?
He is not speaking for God to his people, he is speaking to the media for his own personal glorification. Let’s hope God deals with him in His own way.
I started Jr. High (7th grade in our district) with my best friend, a black girl. By the end of the year she was in her own group and looked at me longingly from her ‘group.’ This was Atlanta.
I grew up that year.
Actually, the three words are "They're racist!" The Easter message is 'we are morally superior to those right wing knuckle-draggers. And we have the right, nay, duty to crush them, their families, their jobs and their religion. Obama is doing just that. He is risen (to smite the hill and chillbillies). Amen.'
We tend to gravitate toward people that have the same values we do. On that basis, this sermon is not at all surprising.
I don’t suppose the so-called “pastor” gave any specific examples, did he?
I am not a violent person, but I would really enjoy punching some of these liberal looneys in the mouth!
The pastor is from Cuba. You would think he would appreciate the freedom he has in America.
It seems that knowledge of Bull Connor, Al Gore Sr, James Fulbright, etc has all gone down the memory hole. Not the mention that the KKK was overwhelmingly Dimacrat.
This White House works in “not so mysterious ways”. I am sure that church has more than one pastor. The best pick was this political hack Leon guy for the Obamas.
Now we can properly assume that the administration and this pastor were working together to use the Easter services as another chance to attack conservatives and have it reported by the news media.
See, they don’t care about how wrong this is, they just saw another opportunity to slam people. I have even heard people on our side say Obama can’t be responsible for what this pastor said. Oh really? They knew exactly what they were doing and it had nothing to do with Christ.
Cardinal O’Connor of New York City died in 2000—the Clintons invited themselves to attend his funeral and have a prominent spot among the mourners. That was when Hillary was running for the Senate seat. I believe they also crashed JFK, Jr.’s funeral service.
In my experience, the Caribbean blacks, and really, the African blacks as well, don’t want anything to do with “African Americans”.
To paraphrase China’s opinion today on Apple:
B. Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, is arrogant, does not care about Americans, and needs more supervision.
