15 Major Brands That Unabashedly Support Gay Marriage
Business Insider ^ | 03/27/2013 | Laura Stampler

Posted on 04/02/2013 8:29:12 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

While the Supreme Court heard arguments regarding the legalization of gay marriage this week, some of the biggest companies in the world risked isolating its conservative consumer base to come out in loud support of marriage equality.

Brands from Bud Light to Martha Stewart Living riffed on the Human Rights Campaign red equal sign that has gone viral on Facebook.

Although the image of Paula Deen riding the symbol — with the caption "It's like two sticks of butter, y'all" — that has been going around is clearly a parody, many other companies have created legitimate social media campaigns to show their unabashed support for the cause.

1) Bud Light re-created the red equal sign — a symbol of people's support of marriage equality that has taken over Facebook newsfeeds — with two cans of Bud.

The company has received a lot of Facebook hate, but it doesn't care.

2) Martha Stewart Living decided to spread the message with cake.

3) Expedia changed its cover photo to the popular image linked to marriage equality advocacy.

Here's the Expedia ad about how a father overcame his prejudices to travel to his daughter's lesbian wedding last fall.

"I told her, this is not the dream I had for my daughter," Artie Goldstein said. But the journey to the wedding and experiences with his new daughter-in-law opened his mind and heart.

Thanks for the info. Don’t use too many of those brands anyway, but was using Expedia.

Won’t do it anymore.

I keep wondering why these jokers don’t just try to do a good job in their area of specialty...and leave the political bull-Obama to those who are pretty useless in the game of life.

Disgusting.

I can do without every one of these companies except Microsoft since I’m forced to use and support their products in my office place.

I’ve been sober for a while now, so Budweiser, Smirnoff, and Absolut can go pound sand. Burger King will never get my business again. JCP sucks. Amazon... c’mon Amazon!

You mean you don’t buy anything at or from or use — Amazon, Microsoft, Nike, and Google?

STOP IT.
There are no gays.
That word was hijacked by homosexuals and liberals to try and make the perversion palatable to normal people. Homosexuals as a group are angry, unstable, rife with illness and have no reason to be gay as in happy..........
It is HOMOSEXUAL marriage and it is a perversion and an abomination.

Maybe some of these “tolerant” folks should take a tour of the folsom street fair in san fagcisco if they want to see just how wonderful the gay life style is.(zombie.com) Or maybe attend some of the wonderful gay pride parades where the freaks tend to let it all hang out with their dominatrix outfits with all the leather and chains, gag balls, zippered masks. Not to mention the “backless” chaps etc. How delightful eh? Maybe penney’s will have a new line out since they are such great supporters. Of course, should you make a disparaging remark, you are a hater. You HAVE to accept all their garbage, but don’t you dare state your objection because then you are being intolerant and will require more diversity training/indoctrination. NOT!

Missing In Action:

Gilead Sciences Inc. and all the other large manufacturers of AIDS drugs.

You would think they’d be first in line to promote more sodomy.

I'm sure at least part of the equipment and service you used to post your reply was made/supplied by a homo-company.

If anyone has an alternative on the technology side, please let me know. Maybe something Asian-made?

RE: Gilead Sciences Inc. and all the other large manufacturers of AIDS drugs.

Why would they need to advertise? Their pharma reps sell their products directly to the doctors ( who need very little convincing when the science is there ).

Imagine a world where people glorify drug addiction, alcoholism or pedophilia? It’s based on the worst vices of human behavior. Yet homosexuality and hedonism gets a pass. We are living through and witnessing a truly sickening era.
