US offers up to $5m for leads on Uganda warlord Kony

The US has offered a reward of up to $5m (£3.3m) for information leading to the arrest or capture of Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony.

The LRA has "tormented and terrorized children" in Uganda and across the region, US Secretary of State John Kerry wrote in the Huffington Post on Wednesday.

What a waste. Kony has an army of a couple dozen and is little more than a local irritation these days.

But he’s Obozo’s excuse to put special forces guys on the ground. Their real mission, however, I think may involve forays into eastern Congo.

Being totally unfamiliar with the going on in Kenya, I have to ask, what business is this of ours?

Isn’t this Kenya’s problem?

Is Obama’s Grandma in danger?
Is his birthplace threatened? If this were anywhere else in Africa would we be offering this kind of money for one of their criminals?
