The son of former president Ronald Reagan warns in an op-ed published Tuesday that legalizing gay marriage will lead to “polygamy, bestiality and perhaps even murder.”

Michael Reagan, a political consultant, made the claims as he calls on church leaders to stand up and fight against same-sex marriage. …

Legalizing same-sex marriages, he writes, “inevitably will lead to teaching our public school kids that gay marriage is a perfectly fine alternative and no different from traditional marriage.” …

Reagan slams the Republican Party, saying party leaders are too preoccupied with the next presidential election to be concerned about the moral threat that he believes same-sex marriages pose to the country. …

I think he is painting too rosy of a picture.

In the sense that almost anything can lead to murder, he’s probably right.

In the sense that legalizing same sex marriage will lead to polygamy, incest, and bestiality, he’s dead on right.

No matter what contortions they try to use, they cannot get around the simple fact that once you break the 1-man, 1-woman = marriage paradigm, you have effectively gutted the possibility of any limitations at all. If gay marriage is a valid lifestyle choice, there is absolutely no reason why 2 (or more) women and 1 man can not be.

And has been pointed out numerous times, there is far greater precedents for polygamy and incest than there ever were for gay marriage. In fact, I have yet to run across ANY historical precedent for gay marriage. The fact that homosexuality was condoned, or even celebrated in other cultures does not mean that it was officially sanctioned.

If someone knows an exception to that, I’d love to hear about it.

Tonight: Michael Reagan on his Op-Ed; Wynonna Judd on DWTS and her husband’s injury

On the heels of a provocative, eyebrow-raising op-ed published in the “Ironton [Ohio] Tribune,” this evening “Piers Morgan Live” invites Michael Reagan to return to the program and share the context and perspective that lead to his writing.

The adopted son of former president Ronald Reagan, and a former American radio host and Republican strategist, Reagan uses the newspaper’s platform to offer the following sentiments regarding same-sex marriage:

“This fight over Proposition 8 isn’t just about saying it should be legal in the eyes of government for two people of the same sex to get married in California. It’s ultimately about changing the culture of the entire country; it inevitably will lead to teaching our public school kids that gay marriage is a perfectly fine alternative and no different than traditional marriage. There is also a very slippery slope leading to other alternative relationships and the unconstitutionality of any law based on morality. Think about polygamy, bestiality, and perhaps even murder.”

To make marriage mean anything and everything, is to make marriage mean nothing. That is the whole point.

Many, if not most, states have laws requiring people to disclose to their sexual partners if they HIV and/or AIDS.

Then you haven't read about the push to reverse this. Yes, liberals want the "right" to conceal their status EVEN FROM THEIR SEXUAL PARTNERS.

Exactly. That’s the liberal mindset.

As Michael Reagan points out, anything goes when it comes to liberals and sex. Straight, gay, bestiality, whatever. Anything goes when you need to deal with the consequences of promiscuous sex — namely, killing the inconvenient baby that results from that reckless night in bed.

If anything, the marriage debate is a lagging indicator. Marriage is being bastardized to fit a degenerate culture, or to solidify it ... not to create one.

"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.

It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages.

The first stage being "demoralization".

It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of [their] enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism.."
