Oh, the irony here is delicious. If the left wants to defend the statute, then they have to argue that immigrants have fewer rights than citizens. Nice little minefield SAF has laid for them there :)

When I was teaching the required class in Colorado, I was glad to help several green card holders qualify for the permit. I'm opposed to training requirements, tests, fees, and the rest of that infringement, but did my best to help as many people as possible keep and bear arms.

People who've waited in immigration lines for years get my respect; people who sneak across the border ought to be rounded up, imprisoned awhile, and sent back.
