First lady Michelle Obama mistakenly called herself a "busy single mother" in an interview on Thursday with Burlington, Vt. CBS affiliate WCAX, before quickly catching herself and identifying instead as "busy working mom."

Discussing the struggle many parents face in balancing work and home life, the first lady reached for an empathetic tone, beginning, "Believe me, as a busy single mother...or, I shouldn't say 'single' - as a busy mother..."

She seemed to catch her flub almost immediately. "You know, when you've got the husband who's president, it can feel a little single, but he's there," she clarified of her husband, President Barack Obama.

I don't want to get too conspiratorial of how she supposedly misspoke ..though...how can a mother forget something like that. Exhaustion, okay..though to even say that seems very strange. I think they are keeping many secrets because getting him in the presidency was to transform the United States...so, tends to explain why some of us don't put our trust in them.

They are probably both his. The older one face shape the same and the younger has his squinty eyes. Neither looks much like Wookie Wide Load at this point; except the little one seems to have her mother’s huge backside.

It is great comedy and may reveal something about how she feels.

But how does somebody make a mistake like this? I suspect "busy single mother" is a phrase people toss around more than others and it sticks in the mind more than other similar phrases, so it rolls off the tongue.

If you try to say something that's false or strike a pose or claim something that's not strictly true, some unconscious guilt can trip you up. Somewhere she knows what she's saying is BS, so she in the end can't say it right.

It looks like it to me. Look how the media covered up the truth on John F. Kennedy for all of those years. Agenda first. It seems to be the same with this man.

That's true. how could she say this..okay I can become really exhausted and could double speak and act silly but I would not say something like that. Bill on Fox would just say I am a Bible thump and was just getting carried away with my imagination.
