I think George W. Bush did a far better job in his first term than in his second and I think only an idiot would NOT say that he did far better in his first term than Obama in his first term. If we survive Obama’s second term and I consider that highly doubtful, I expect that Bush will be looking super by comparison, especially since a lot of conservatives have remarked that Bill Clinton looks good compared to Obama.

Decades ago Bossier City , Louisiana got a federal grant of some sort for $3M to pay for a new city hall. The mayor was very very proud of his accomplishment. At a large family gathering he boasted of this glorious success. One young man, his nephew asked how someone who called himself a ‘southern conservative’ could then beg money from the US government for something that should only be the financial responsibility of the people of Bossier City. The young man's mother, hizzoner’s sister, became apoplectic at her son's ‘disrespect’. He could never get any of the females and only a couple of the male’s to understand (or really just acknowledge the logic) of the implications of asking the national government to insert itself in purely local issues. His mother finally burst out in anger with the remark”it's only fair for us to get something. Uncle Bo is just helping us get our share.’ These hypocrites all thought of themselves as ‘conservatives’. many have since become Republicans. Their mentality is in no way different from those wretches sucking up Obomaphones.
