I am one of them, been going off grid due to unemployment for 1 yr 6 mos. I donot collect UE, Foodstamps or DISABILITY or SS. I am over 55.

I suggest everyone prepare vigilantly for the end of the US as we know it!

and of that lowest participation rate how many are real jobs I mean not government jobs, not non-profit jobs, not gov contractor jobs, real jobs producing something. oh i forgot the real jobs where they produce something are in China now.government jobs where idiots sit doing nothing all day , well maybe some produce fake global warming data for $100,000 gov grants.

I heard a good point on this just a few minutes ago. Back in the Carter days women had not yet entered the workforce like they have today. Sothese numbers from 1979 have some explanation that makes more sense unlike today...where its obvious people are leaving the workforceto be on the take.

CNBC is actually reporting this? Interesting. It probably won't stay on their website long once they realize how poorly this reflects on Obama.

Oh, wait - they'll just blame it on Bush or those eeeeevil corporate guys or the Republicans in Congress or something like that.
