COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- El Paso County authorities have arrested a member of a white supremacist gang linked to the killing of Colorado Corrections Director Tom Clements.
Police told CBS Affiliate KKTV that 47-year-old James Lohr, the 211 gang member linked to murder suspect Evan Ebel, was arrested overnight. The El Paso County Sheriff's Department also confirmed the arrest to KKTV.
KRDO-TV reports Lohr was taken into custody early Friday following a short foot chase after authorities stopped a car. Authorities want to question Lohr in connection to Clements' murder.

Actually, this dude was only wanted for questioning ... and only because he knew a bad guy when he was in prison ... but if we didn't juice up the story, nobody would watch our broadcasts or read our stories ... and we wouldn't get to rant about those evil White supremacists ... and the obvious need to take away everybody's guns!
The fact that this is put on "white supremists" just seems too Oklahoma City ... too Timothy McVeigh.
Every time I see this case mentioned the first words out of their mouths is WHITE SUPREMECIST.
It’s really funny in any other case if the word WHITE isn’t there or if no race is mentioned ,you can bet money it’s a black that did the killing.

First reports I saw of the 211 Crew was organized to protect white inmates in the prison from the black and Hispanic gangs in there.
In this case there is a connection. The man that shot the warden was a member of this gang. And, just shortly before the shooting, the prisons had done a crack down on this gang, moving some of them to different prisons to shake things up a bit.
You have a friend. You share similar beliefs and hobbies. One day he goes off the deep end and commits a "terrible crime." You have a warrant for a DUI, and they know that this guy is your friend, and they want to question you about him. They arrest you and the headline reads: Man arrested in "terrible crime" incident.
I personally think that if the aryan brotherhood is involved, these are cartel hits.
From what I can glean, the term ‘White Supremacist’ is a bit of a misnomer or generality. What they are really referring to is the Aryan Brotherhood a follow on group to the original Aryan Nation. These bad actors are in bed with one or more of the Mexican Drug Cartels.
It makes sense for them to hire local contracts for their dirty work.
But when 500 blacks rampage through a city, over and over, they are "mischievous youths" and the story is buried on page 19.
The aryan brotherhood likely wouldn’t exist if liberals like the ACLU hadn’t insisted on desegregating the prisons and forced racial conflict among violent criminals.
I’m still waiting for the first news account that mentions the race of those mobs.

This is an opportunity. The Aryan brotherhood are a white prison gang.
Therefore, any time a member of a black or Hispanic prison gang commits a crime, they should be labeled as a “black supremacist” or a “Hispanic supremacist.”

Years ago when I did six months in the county jail for drunk driving I met both blacks and whites who had done time in prison. They were both Nation of Islam and Aryan Brotherhood and they got along fine and were often friendly with each other.
I asked one of the NOI trustees I worked with about it and he said it was a prison thing that didn’t really work the same in the county jail or on the street. He said that we could be friendly in the jail or on the street but any friendly contact in the prison would endanger both of us from both sides.
Oh, I don’t disagree with the bias of the media and the way they manipulate headlines and emotions. I was just responding to the poster’s question about any links to white supremacists being involved.
He’s the son of a democrat who is closely associated with the Democratic governor of the state, and it is speculated that this connection is how he got out of prison on early release, and was not sent to a half-way house like normal early release prisoners.
He might well be a member of a “white” gang (you apparently have to join a gang in prison, or else get beat up by other gangs). But he is unlikely to be a conservative, or “right-wing”.
We know that all the media had to do was the following: “Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah “White Supremacists,” blah, blah, blah, blah. And there’s your basic LIV headline!
