If there's no threat, then why are we mobilizing our most deadly military assets closer to Lil Kim?
Wouldn't a hearty laugh or snicker from the White House suffice instead?
Kim Jong-un orders increased production of artillery in N. Korea: report
U.S., Japan announce plans to move Marines from Okinawa to Hawaii, Guam
Won't Guam tip over?
You can bet all other nations are going to take advantage of this happening....good ones or bad....shifting will occur...... By the same token...nations will be watching the back door too.
If one wants to know what’s happening...see who is traveling where, for whatever purpose....”where” they are and go IS language.
That’s a good possibility! Especially if they don’t load the island down evenly. LOL!
Honestly, I think Kim and his leadership are more worried about what we'll do and very likely squirming quite a bit...they need to.
Even though backdoor channeling is surely going on for all parties this entails...I think they'll make Kim wait.....let him sweat thru this.
Further, plenty of time has now passed I am sure our guys and or the N.Koreans are already on the ground and sniffing out the terrain over there...be it from the sea or air. They are there.
Yearly bluster and kabooki dance.
The whole thing is a friggin charade.
They go all blah, blah, blah.
We go “Here’s some food and heavy water”
I’ll have some nice kimchee before we take our holiday.
I view this as a power struggle and I expect their boy leader will find some military types disturbing his sleep very soon..
"Good night, Sam".
"Good night, Ralph, see you tomorrow."
Buster, Demand ..... Food.
Simple as that.
Grass tofu sucks...
Some interesting pics from NK
I never figured out if Sam and Wile E Coyote were related or not.
It is certainly being tracked. What is lacking AFAIK, is any sort of ASAT capability other than the stuff stationed on the coasts. That is missile oriented, not anti-satellite.
I think we scrapped all our good stuff years ago, like the spiffy one launched from a F-15 at high Mach and high altitude. Must not offend the commies, who no doubt kept their toys...........
All this assumes Zero gives a damn, and that he would not welcome the chaos to play into his schemes..........
“Couldnt we just shoot it down with a missile before it activates?”
An EMP attack detonates at high altitude, but it would still have to reenter the atmosphere to hit the “sweet spot”.
Now, as to whether we could shoot it down, the Russians developed a plan for an EMP attack which they shared with NK. This plan involved attacking from a cross-polar trajectory, in which the warhead would approach us from the Southern hemisphere, and we have no early warning system in that direction. You can’t shoot down what you can’t see.
I read their satellite was tumbling around in orbit shotly after it launched..meaning it doesn’t work.
“What is lacking AFAIK, is any sort of ASAT capability other than the stuff stationed on the coasts.”
We could always ask our good friend China, which has an orbital anti-sat weapon, to help us out.
