Biden not giving back pay, at least for now
Politico44 A Living Diary of the Obama Presidency ^ | 4/5/13 | JENNIFER EPSTEIN

Vice President Joe Biden won't be following the president's lead and returning some of his pay to the Treasury, but may if his staff faces furloughs.

"The vice president is committed to sharing the burden of the sequester with his staff," his office said in a statement Friday.

As has been noted elsewhere, Biden has a significantly smaller net worth than many of those who have offered to return money to the Treasury or give it to charity in a sign of support for those facing furloughs because of sequestration.

I should say ‘people’. and I mean the ones who don’t think but who opine and who vote.

The ones who hate logic just because it puts their lives into a paradigm shift.

Sounds like the people who think politicians are in it for the paycheck. They are not. They are in it for the graft.

I chuckle a lot every time I hear of Congress or Obastard talking about taking pay cuts. Har. “We’re gonna freeze Congressional paychecks if a budget isn’t passed by” (insert some date). They must think we’re pretty stupid.

Exactly. If he really wants to show some solidarity with other federal workers, he could start by putting in a 40-hr work week for the first time in his Presidency.

I believe Joe Biden’s wife works too. I think she makes about 80K as a teacher/professor.

All the liberals who said Sarah Palin was stupid then voted for Biden. It’s truly laughable.
