Making them pay dues out of pocket instead of automatic deductions. Liberals are so stupid, they actually must be led to water.

While Walker is doing well, let’s reserve the Walker for president stuff for a more suitable time in the future.

He’s already a target, let’s not make it bigger.

Many already were, they just had to keep paying union dues regardless.

making yourself a political target is how it is done. make yourself the biggest target you can and then stand and deliver. cruz also seems to realize this. standing on God and principle with no fear whatsoever is exactly how scott walker has done it. that is one big problem with republicans in general. the only time the aren’t hiding in fear of becoming a target, is when they attack those who stand on principle. conservatism will not advance without expecting that a bullseye will be painted on your back.

To me, it is much more effective to just quietly go about your business. Then in the end the results will speak for themselves.

The showboats always get killed by overlooking the details. Walker is doing the right thing, lay low, fight when necessary and let the results prove you were right.

Walker is doing the right things, and he should continue to keep his head down and work his will.

Talk of Walker for president is premature. Sure he’s got some victories, but the results take time. The measure of his effectiveness is not that he was able to thwart his political opposition in the short term, but in proving that they were wrong over the long haul.

Lets assume that he starts laying the groundwork now for a POTUS run starting in Jan 2015. His opponents will have a field day trying to humiliate him in the interim, and the media will make an effort to torpedo him like they have tried with Rubio.

Remember, the longer he runs the state house, the more allies and success he will build.

Excellent news.
Walker is a rising star, for sure.

Excellent news. Walker is a rising star, for sure.

The GOPe will put a stop to that if at all possible. Their motto is to never offend a Democrat.

sorry, we part ways on this one. if i’m going down, i’m going down swinging. what walker has done and the way he has done it is exactly my cup of tea. there is no way to characterize what he has done, and what we have all done to support him as “keeping your head down.” that, in essence, is the republican disease. the desire to hide. the fear of exposure.

My point is that you keep your head down while you’re executing your plan. Work quietly and keep moving along. If you stand up and fight too soon, you risk losing the implementation. The media hates republicans and will batter the showboat relentlessly until they have nothing left.

Look at what they are trying with Cruz...but more importantly Rubio. And Rubio was out there eating it up, and then they gave him the question that was intended to end him about the earth in seven days or some such. He answered them, and the pummeled him for a stupid question intended to paint him a a religious nut.

The in your face media strategy is a guaranteed loser for our guys. Including Walker. He’s done pretty well so far, but it isn’t over and it’s not (re)election season.....yet.

Next year will be the true test of his skill and staying power. Let him win re-election and then we can see how 2016 looks

i take your point and i think you’ve made your case. i think we’re agreed on one thing. you’ve got to walk the talk. and walker has done nothing else but walk his “incendiary to unions and statists” talk. but if you don’t execute, you’re toast, no matter what you say. agreed. you have to produce.

as Christ said, “pick up your cross and follow Me.” you will be crucified when you tell the truth. if you’re not being crucified then you’re of no worth to me as a politician (i.e., you’re not doing your job). that doesn’t mean we’re going to win them all. no not at all, evil will always win it’s share until the very end. but you can’t win if you don’t pick up your cross. thank God i believe that we only need a very few cruzes, rubios, and God love him, scott walkers to make our case and win the day. with God all things are possible.

with that i’ll put this one to rest. God bless.
