A wave of anti-Semitic and racially charged graffiti hit several locations in Medford, Massachusetts over the weekend, leaving local residents and officials vowing to mount a vigorous investigation into the identities of the perpetrators who desecrated the city on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day.

According to Police, 12 different areas of South Medford including Tufts University, local schools, playgrounds and posted signs were tagged with swastikas, racially charged language and apparent gang symbols. …

I know you get this Bray, but for the thread: the Nazis and the Bolsheviks both used the Swastika - they even put it on their banknotes. Its a Left-wing symbol.

Let me put on my Sherlock Holmes cap for a minute. Is it reasonable to assume that antisemites even know when “Holocaust Remembrance Day” is? No, it is not. Yet, whoever put up the graffiti appears to have known. Therefore, it’s not likely they were an antisemite at all. I’d look for suspects first among those staging local events for Holocaust Remembrance Day, who may have wanted to gin up publicity and sympathy for their cause.
