Mark Kelly Shoots Glock 9mm With 'High Capacity' Magazine on CNN

In an interview that will air on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 on April 9, Gabby Giffords looks on from her mother's porch while Mark Kelly shoots bottles and clay pots in the Arizona desert with a Glock 19 9mm. The gun is actually Giffords's, but Kelly shoots it and wasn't shy about admitting he had a 17-round magazine in it.

Ironically, 17 rounds exceeds the 10 round limit that was being pushed in the Senate in February when Kelly spoke in favor of banning them.

Nevertheless, after CNN filmed Kelly target shooting, he justified using a 17-round magazine for the simple reason that it wasn't a 33-round magazine, which is what the shooter used who attacked Giffords with a Glock 19 9mm in January 2011.

Giffords and Kelly sat down with CNN interviewer Dana Bash after the target shooting was over, and Bash asked Kelly if he had stopped to think about how "incredulous" people might be seeing him continue to get "his kicks [by] shooting a gun?" To this Kelly simply said, "Gabby used to like shooting a gun too, occasionally."

Gabby was shot in the head, but the former naval officer lost his mind.

If only Mark Kelly had been at Safeway that day with Gabby’s gun, then things might have turned out differently.

Is Gabby mentally and emotionally competent to own a gun?

Ms. Giffords barely survived having her brains scrambled by a deranged murderous lunatic.

It's a bit classless to mock her.

We’re in Florida, and coming to your beautiful city next month.

We can’t wait to kill baby sea lions on the beach-

Huh? You mean, only Famous Astronauts get to do that?

Dear Mr. (Inkstone),

Thank you for your e-mail expressing concern over the incident involving the dog and the seal in Laguna Beach.

Our review of the incident showed that there was no violation of the applicable municipal leash law. As such, no citations were issued in conjunction with the incident.

We have referred this case to the National Marine Fisheries Service for investigation of whether there were any violations of the Marine Mammal Protection Act. That agency has jurisdiction over violations of the Act.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Normally I’d agree, but her husband, who know better, is trying to ride this issue into a political office.

As such, well, class has sort of left the building a while back perhaps.

To this Kelly simply said, “I am a liar and a hypocrite ghoulishly using my wife’s tragedy to push a radical citizen disarmament agenda that I, being a somewhat intelligent person, do not actually support in order to start my political career.”

I'd suggest, as a tactical matter, reserving the invective for the abuser. That would be Mark Kelley in this case. He's following in the foul, polluted footsteps of Sarah Brady and Carolyn McCarthy.

There's nothing, I think, that you could say about him that would bother me in the slightest. He's the lowest of the low.

I agree. What they are doing is like using retarded children in TV ads.

“See how fast they dive into that pizza...”

” This dogfood is so good, even the kids like it.”

OK.

Mark Kelley is trying to do that. Rip him up one side, and down the other. Tear his head off and $#!+ down his neck. Whatever.

He deserves every bit of it, and I'll happily join the party.

Sarah Brady and Carolyn McCarthy deserve it as well, and for the same reasons.

But ripping on James Brady and Gabrielle Giffords, whose brains have been scrambled and who have little control over where they go and what they do, does us no good.

I don’t know... I see Gabby Giffords in tow with Mark Kelley at all these anti-2nd amendment events. Are you saying her politics are different from her husbands?

I’m in full and complete agreement. I do want to point something out - her district went without representation for quite a while. She could have resigned, and indeed had the capacity to understand what resignation meant, and did not resign.

Nobody should ever be shot in the head for no good reason (and there are good reasons). That being what it is, they are both whores, she and her husband.

She could have retired, and then wrote a book or something. They held on to the seat instead.

At this point, you have to ask yourself (hijacking alert:), “What would make a person spend $55 million on an election to an office that pays less than $200K?”

I’m not referring to Gifford or Kelley here, but anyone, like Corzine maybe, that would spend $20M to win an office that pays less than $200K . . .

What makes that exchange of value a relevant one, and what does that say about this system already being destroyed beyond repair?

Back in the day, I used to see James Brady in tow with Sarah Brady at all these anti-2nd Amendment events.

I didn't believe for an instant that James Brady had any politics. He was just a meat-puppet in a wheel chair. It was all Sarah, and she was and is tyranny-enabling filth.

Ms. Giffords is slightly more mobile than Mr. Brady, but hearing her speak leaves me convinced that she doesn't know the meaning of the words she's uttering. I feel sorry for her; she's being abused by a foul piece of feces in human form. So IMO, like Mr. Brady, I don't think Ms. Giffords really has any politics. The politics are all on Mr. Kelley ... and it takes a special sort of inhuman evil to abuse an injured and mentally incompetent spouse to further a political agenda of any sort.

Answers:

1. The $55 million wasn't her money
2. She resigned just after crossing the threshold required for a Congressional pension.

This is a good thing.

It shows them overplaying their hand and their overt duplicitous agenda.

“Answers:

Not true. Meg Whitman (R) spent that much of her own cash trying to be Governor of CA, and Corzine spent $20M of his own cash to be Governor of NJ.

It’s one thing spending another magnitude on top of this number buying into a pro-sports team ownership group. It’s another to buy your way into a government job.

The Russians are right about us right now - we are headed down the same road they did by a different path.

Marc Kelley is an outright moron and I can’t believe he is an astronaut.

Who in the heck fires a gun with boulders as your backstop?

Moreover, he is still not being investigated for his reckless abandonment and loss of control, when his dog went off leash, in violation of state law and killed a baby seal, in violation of federal laws.

I put no stock in anything this asshat has to say.
