Because of Ben Nelson NE, voting for obamacare, republicans picked up what was a conservative democrat seat. Bob Kerrey (once governor of NE) tried to run against Fischer and lost by a landslide. I think this next election will see the republicans pick up seats held by so-called conservative democrats. People are mad at what is going on. From the results of the primary mayors race in Omaha, I think we will have a republican mayor. We will go from red to bright lipstick red. Obama is going to be blamed for democrats losing next election. I hope so anyway.
She of the $300,000,000 DeathCare payoff....
Nice move there, Louisiana.
It won’t matter. She’ll get re-elected. ACORN is still pretty active down here, especially in the N.O. area, her base.
Johnson will vote against the Constitution...he already announced his retirement, so he no longer gives a damn.

Landrieu Under 50 Percent in New Poll
Louisiana politics led off Politico’s “Morning Score” today with a new Senate race poll and new plans for Jeff Landry.
The Harper poll has Sen. Mary Landrieu leading Congressman Bill Cassidy, 46-41 percent, and BESE Chairman Chas Roemer, 46-33 percent. That Landrieu remains under 50 percent, as in recent polls, points to vulnerability, says Politico. Also, that 56 percent of those surveyed did not have an opinion of Cassidy and 64 percent did not have one of Roemer means the Republicans have room to grow in favorability. What should be concerning to Landrieu is that in a generic ballot test, 46 percent said they would prefer a Republican candidate to 40 percent who wanted a Democrat.
B_tard there is NO COMPROMISE on 2nd Amendment.
I’m sure she got a call from the POS
Has anyone ever lost reelection just for opposing gun control?
ANYONE?
Dem year against as piss-poor Republican candidate who wouldn't defend himself against baseless attacks.
Too nice a guy who had the all the wrong credentials. You know rich, white, male etc..
Aren’t these idiot senators supposed to follow their oath to support the Constitution? They should be in prison.
also voted for the UN arms trade treaty that takes away our U.S. sovereignty, and takes away our 2nde ammendment
this cretin also voted for Obamacare
this creep must be defeated in the election in 2014
I'm in Louisiana and we have to put this liberal’s record all over. it claims it is a conservative and lies
You're sure about that?
You can't imagine a situation where Boehner allows the bill to come to the floor -- as a grand gesture of bi-partisanship? And all 200 Democrats vote for it? And they're joined by 17 gutless RINOs (the House is currently split 232-200, with 3 vacancies) -- because "we've got to do something!"
LOL He's about to pi$$ his drawers! He may lose even if he supports the filibuster but he's gone for sure if he doesn't.
Of course I’m not sure of it, but I’d bet every Congressman who faces re-election next year will run screaming from any gun control bill. So I’m confident.
TC
And make it double...
I do believe that ObamaCare was brought to the floor where it would take 51 votes to defeat it. All under the same guise that McCainiac says, it deserves discussion.
There won't be any discussion and no amendments, we have been had again.
Remember the cheering squad that formed here when Dirty Harry pulled the witch from Friso's bill, some of us suggested that it was a little early to cheer.
mary i sold my soul on obamacare for 300 million landrieu.
she was an expensive whore.
The degree of dictatorial control that the Democrat party and its minions exert over the elected Democrats has substantially increased since 1994. See Obamacare.
Couple that with the gutless RINO segment of the party and the mindless drift in GOP leadership and I fear we've got trouble.
Moreover, it strikes me that the Democrat leadership has discovered something. They can afford to take a giant step forward with their agenda -- even if it costs them an election (as Obamacare did). But their Republican opponents are so feckless that they can be confident about returning to power in fairly short order...and commencing to build on their earlier triumph.
