Grover Norquist is known as an anti-tax crusader, but in the coming weeks he will be just as much a pro-immigration crusader, combatting what he calls the “bitter enders” who oppose comprehensive immigration reform.
Norquist says that he’s trying to counteract the effect of “a handful of radio talk-show hosts who talk loudly.”
“The bitter-enders who are still responding to radio talk-show hosts from eight years ago haven’t noticed that the world has shifted from underneath them,” he says. “The people who need cover are the guys who are still voting like they were Pat Buchanan.”

Norquist’s group, Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), is using its famous Wednesday meeting as a model for marshaling conservative activists behind an immigration overhaul. In recent weeks, Norquist and his advisers have hosted fortnightly Friday meetings for conservative leaders and pro-reform Republicans.

That’s interesting. I have yet to hear Beck, Hannity, Levin or Rush ever mention Grover Norquist, much less expose this monster. Does he OWN all of them??

I don’t know about that, but Rush has been playing waterboy for Rubio at the same time that he has been denouncing the amnesty-by-another-name that Rubio is pushing.

Besides being a racket, it’s losing whatever force it once had through leftist infiltration. Reagan was a blip on the screen in America’s leftwards shift, and even he presided over amnesty.

The military is in turmoil because of the pro-gay anti-war pro-illegal immigation stupid rules of engagement and of course blaming the Navy for North Korea’s dictatorship’s recent stupidity, but I remember reservists I was working with in the 1990s telling me how they weren’t going to reenlist, and how no one they knew was going to either, because of Slick. Long run, the military will be in the best shape of all. And it’s easy to see why — sectarian turmoil, faux-idealogical turmoil.
Kind of like serving under Carter-nobody liked him as CIC, but it didn't intrinsically change the military culture, though it didn't help morale.
Serving under a weasel like Clinton, and being forced to serve with and under open sodomites and females in combat, are on different levels. Even though the military probably won't be deluged with sodomites enlisting, the ones who are there are going to use their power-just as the small but loud segment has in general society-and press their advantages. Also, the anti-Christianity cast the sodomites’ open and loud presence in the military is producing, might deter just the kind of traditional types who wanted to serve, from enlisting. That's certainly what they're saying on some Christian forums I frequent.
Even people whose families have served for generations are saying that they're telling their sons and grandsons that they would no longer recommend serving in this military.
I don't doubt that this is just the result that Hussein and the string-pullers wanted. A military which doesn't trust ordinary Americans, and in turn is not trusted by them. A reflection of this government (both parties) which doesn't trust ordinary Americans (bitter clingers, more gun control) and in turn is less trusted by them.
