When I was just a pup down in Alabama, a good friend shot me with a BB gun in the stomach. No blood. No foul. That was how we kids rolled back in the day.

When I was a kid since everyone didn’t have their own BB gun, to make it fair we made spears, blow guns, and bows and arrows to shoot at each other.
They all drew blood.
I’m sure you were too kind and gentle a child to do anything like that.
In fact, I bet you were so kind and gentle as a child you never ever had a grass burr fight.
NOOOOO, you would never put a grass burr in anyone’s back would you.
Yep, it would be no fun as a kid growing up today.
Things we did without a thought are now illegal and carry penalties.
I hate it. Avoid at all cost the reminders of how it really is today.
