Americans know the true meaning and purpose of the Second Amendment is to guarantee our right to self-defense in our system of self-government. I would like to invite the millions of Americans who believe it is important to protect the Second Amendment to share their stories about what the Second Amendment means to them and why they feel the Senate should protect their rights.

I have been on lists most of my life. My father-in-law was in the weapons industry. He told me in the 1970's that the FBI knew who I was, what I did for a living and where I lived. We even had neighbors in NM tell us that they were questioned about us. So no surprise.
