Yes it is. But even our side get's it wrong. My right to bear arms isn't GIVEN to me by the 2nd Amendment. The right to protect myself, my family and my liberties are those inalienable rights. The 2nd Amendment is a restriction on government. We need to force the re-framing of the discussion.
I heard Manchin and turncoat Toomey give their press conference. Manchin said any person that had been “adjudicated” as having a mental problem will be denied
a gun if they try and buy one. What in the the hell is that supposed to mean? Any veteran that fought for his country and is now suffering from any mental disorder will be denied the right to protect himself and his family??? Any veteran that the Veteran’s Administration says has PTSD will now be monitored and tracked like he’s a damn criminal. This is BS of the first degree. Hell no to any law that says a veteran can not own a weapon. These worthless politicians, most of which never served a day in the defense of this country, now telling real patriots they are not trusted with a weapon and will be treated like a common criminal?
