Kansas City police, a local charity and other city departments on Friday cleared out and filled in a complex of elaborate tunnels and holes at a homeless camp near the East Bottoms.
A tunnel entrance at the homeless camp in northeast Kansas City. One of the tunnels probably went 20 to 25 feet underground towards the back and veered off in another direction about six feet or so, and there was some bedding and some candles, said Officer Jason Cooley, community interaction officer for the East Patrol. It was kind of in a little hill and probably four feet beneath the surface.

They were on The Kings land. They should count themselves luck they weren’t drawn and quartered.
If this happened with a Republican in the White House this would be the top story and outrage would be pouring in.
Mean while the U.S. Gov provides billions to enemy foreign countries, while allowing tens of millions of foreign criminals to invade our homeland. All this while government hands out prizes, incentives, free health care and various other rewards to millions of illegals, all on the backs of the foolish tax payers.
This article gives the impression the homeless were digging tunnels when in all likelihood, they just are occupiers.
I thought they loved the homeless, so they can increase the welfare ranks?
I made a delivery inside those tunnels. You can get lost.
You look at the address then drive into this huge parking lot and think “Where’s the building?” Then you see a small guard shack.
I think Lamar Hunt is the guy who say a use for all those tunnels.

Park University in north west KC mines lime stone and has underground storage centers for business customers, a third of the Campus including the University Library is underground! Pretty cool.
I wonder how warm and dry it was down there — after all it is Kansas City.
