Sen. Arlen Toomey experiencing backlash (my vanity title)

There is now a Facebook page for Senator Arlen Toomey.

Personally, I think someone as shallow and unprincipled as Pat Toomey would actually pay more attention to FaceBook instead of letters/emails for his constituents. I have tried to call his office three times in the past week and did not receive a person on the other end of the phone. I have emailed just as many times and still have not received a reply.

Apparently some have turned to social media to get through Toomey's thick RINO skull.

A new law cannot do away with an amendment to the constitution. Sadly, it’ll take a lot of money and some time in jail to prove it.

That scumbag Toomey had a lot of people fooled. Maybe Santorum knew something.
Toomey blew his cover shortly after he was elected when he came out and supported the sodomization of the US military.

Toomey supported the sodomization of the US military, but he wasn’t sworn in yet so he couldn’t vote for it (although he would have).

There is the difference between the theory of a principle and the reality of life.

I hope he and his partner of this bill do get backlash.

Toomey pretended to be supportive of the Tea Party. I even heard on the radio that Obama and Reid has praised Toomey for this bill.

Link broken: either PT pulled the page or so many people are slamming it that it broke.

To PT (or any lurking staffer): FUPT ya ignorant moron. Way to toss a winning issue into the trash, idjit. Really, are you THAT d@mn politically STUPID? Did you see what happened with the Sen. Cruz filibuster? It WORKED. But NOOO, you have to suck up to the “moderate” middle. Well, moron, most of them are in fact on OUR side on this one. It was a wedge issue for the DEMOCRATS, and you just p!$$ed it away. Way to go, LOSER. Or are you really working for the other side? To scared to lose an invite to some inside the Beltway party? Either way, GTH.

I suspect that you are right and that only an outline of an agreement was hammered out, with staff directed to fill i the language.

If so, important details could be left out so it can be distributed in time for a Senate vote and debate.

If that is the cast a filibuster sounds pretty good to me.

The fact is Toomey wouldn't even rank in the 50% most conservative Democrats in the Senate. He is to the left of Dianne Feinstein.

Just waiting on Ted Cruz. I predict 2 - 6 months before he goes left.

Maybe not all of this the gun issue is the most important, but it is the only issue left. The fiscal and social issues are gone. So, if the Republicans are ready to surrender on guns, there isn’t much point in bothering.
