My three year old daughter went into the voting booth with me while I voted for President Ford.

A few weeks later President Carter held his first press conference and my daughter watched intently until she turned to me and said, “Don’t you wish a lot more people had voted for President Ford.” She saw him as a phony out of the box. He has continued to prove it.
