Sen. Rand Paul in a teaching moment.
"Rand Paul's tells majority black Howard University that it was the Democrats, not the Republicans behind "racism and Jim Crow'"

("Jesus talked to us as individuals"-Jim Vicevich/Thanks JimV!)
It’s worth a try, and Rand Paul is not a bad spokesman for this sort of outreach. I’m not thrilled with him in all areas, but he is immeasurably better than Christie, McCain, Romney, or another Bush. If a heavy hitter like Sarah Palin does not jump in early, I may work for this guy’s campaign full time.

(A war can only be just if it is fought with a reasonable chance of success.)
Republicans have said very little over the years about Jim Crow laws and which party fought against ending slavery.

Fretting about racism and homosexuality and the environment has replaced Christianity for youth.
It is the new religion

that kid who wanted government to help him just wants something to replace mommy and daddy

The Republican Party was formed to fight the twin vestiges of barbarism, slavery and polygamy. Or was CNN and MSNBC?

The GOP should run with this. Make attack ads and scream it from the rooftops. There are a couple of excellent youtube videos on this very subject. And how the Dem’s NEVER changed. The GOP has “let” the Dems get away with this narrative for far, far, far too long. They are always too busy playing “nice” and nice doesn’t work with these people on the left. I wish the GOP would learn that lesson and learn it well once and for all.
