So the NGooks missiles are “mobile”, right? But they have to park them to fuel them up? So they are not really mobile then? And then after they are fueled there is no way in bleep that they are re-mobile. And the fuel truck(s) are mobile? Does anybody at Barnum and Bailey know about this? It’s starting to remind me of the way we tracked the supply trucks for Saddam’s beach defenses in Kuwait. As soon as we got the coordinates of the truck stops the USS New Jersey took over ( or was it the Missouri?) and re-seeded the desert with 16” ground seed thereby eliminating the need to re-supply. If you can’t run-and-shoot you are probably about to re-fight and re-lose WW I. And don’t forget both the Japans and the Souks have some pretty respectable tricks in their bags.
TO YOUR QUESTION.....
Because we don’t have Reagen, Pope John Paul and Thatcher around now!
All I want to know is can they get to the WH?
Military satellites, unfortunately, cannot park where you want them. To stay stationary satellites have to be 23K miles away and that’s a little far to see much.
Sure bert and everyone in Tennessee is an unquestionable perfect conservative.
Fact is even with commies like Pelosi who’s from NY, San Francisco has a bigger economy and larger military presence than your entire freaking state.
Take care burt.
I understand they can read a license plate at that distance.
NK does not have a deliverable nuke, period. They may, years from now. Their nuke yields have been very poor so far. One detonation was so weak, we couldn’t tell if the critical mass yield was greater than the explosives needed to set it off.
It is all about a missiles range and payload. The bigger the payload, the shorter the range, etc.
So far the NK nukes are so heavy they have to carry them by rail car. Their best missile has a 250 pound payload.
NK would need some very high tech critical mass reflectors to get any where under 1000 pound payload.
SF has always been a target..Massive economy, huge military presence, and probably one of the biggest harbors in the United States.
How about a ocean freighter?
You should find a better source of information.
You should find a better source of information.
2” resolution in 1966 so you can imagine what it is now.
I was just funin!!!
It appears that DIA disagrees.
“It appears that DIA disagrees.”
They are wrong and they know it. It is nonsense and can only be directed at ginning up more hysteria.
“How about a ocean freighter?”
No problem, think sales to Iran, think Tel Aviv.
However, plutonium and uranium decay constantly and we can detect that anywhere in the world, even behind lead screening. It is no coincidence that one of three monitoring stations is in Japan.
Good reading here:
So you suggest it’s impossible to smuggle a nuclear devise into freighter, float it over and detonate the devise?
That was NOT at geosynchronous orbit.
It is so reassuring to know we have a commander in chief who knows what he is doing. BARF ALERT
Not to nitpick, but she’s from Baltimore.
We need a picture of it with a big ol’ bullseye on it! :)
“Oh ya mean that district and state with the most military bases/Naval weapons/military personnel/and DOD R&D stuff in the U.S? “
She represents San Antonio and Norfolk, Virginia?
Reagan would do the right and prudent thing.
Bush would send in troops to build schools and soccer fields to win the hearts and minds of the North Koreans, and we’ve seen how that that turned out.
Ha, ha, yes, most of what they send up explodes soon after it leaves the ground.
As for the Nodong missile, does Anthony Weiner have a statement on that?
Still don’t understand why we will wait to shoot down the missiles until they fly over Japan. Would not make me feel very safe if I was Japanese!
This cartoon appeared in China Weibo yesterday showing a cartoon Kim Jong-un peeing on representations of Japan, South Korea, and the US, while China (the old man with the cane) says "Stupid child! This will be the death of you."
San Antonio? Norfolk
Under the “leadership” of Obamao, Kerry, Hagel, and their lords the UN, I wouldn’t be surprised if the US falls to North Korea.
They probably know he's too chicken to do anything. He's useless.
A few years ago a bunch of our grandkids had devices similar to that launcher in the picture.
It is a hysterical toy - every grandkid had a different approach - run and pounce on the launcher, and depending on the angle, watch how high (or not) the ‘missile’ went.
I say hysterical because we laughed constantly at the results.
I think I may still have an unopened one around here somewhere - - - thought we might re-vive the toy some day!
Timely reminder ... Thank You!
>>>Tsar Bomba was originally designed to be 100MT(I think) but then they reduced it to 50-57MT (I think) I think another reason for reduction was the level of fallout created.<<<
An idea was actually to make a delivering aircraft escape without melting.
:) Looks like he is about to hit own butt.
Ha, ha, so that’s what they look like. ;-)
