Posted on 04/11/2013 2:49:26 PM PDT by Kaslin
RUSH: Grab audio sound bite number two. I don't know if you heard this. This is yesterday in Chicago, the Joint Luncheon Meeting: Working Together to Address Youth Violence in Chicago, hosted by the mayor, Rahm Emanuel. First Lady Moochelle (My Belle) Obama spoke about youth empowerment.
MICHELLE: Hadiya Pendleton was me, and I was her. But I got to grow up and go to Princeton and Harvard Law School and have a career and a family, and the most blessed life I could ever imagine. And Hadiya -- oh, we know that story. I started out with exactly the same aptitude, exactly the same intellectual, emotional capabilities as so many of my peers. And the only thing that separated me from them was that I had a few more advantages than some of them did. That was the difference between growing up and becoming a lawyer, a mother, and First Lady of the United States, and being shot dead at the age of 15. Are we truly meeting our obligations to our children? It's a question we should also be asking in Chicago and in every corner of this country.
RUSH: I thought we were making it harder to gun down our kids, number one. But what is this? What is it with these people? "If I had had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." Now here's Michelle Obama, "Hadiya Pendleton was me, and I was her." What is this? I don't understand this. The need to compare herself to this girl who was gunned down by illegal guns in the hands of gang members. What's the point? She's saying it could have been her, but for what? It could have been her but for what? She had advantages? What were her advantages? I mean, the idea that we're all in this together and we're no different from one another and it coulda just as easily been me except that it wasn't. I don't know that Moochelle ever was in black gang or black gang neighborhoods.
I don't know, but we've got that babe on MSNBC saying your skids are not yours. Now the first lady is saying she's no different than the little girl gunned down in Chicago. The president is saying, "Trayvon Martin, if I had a son, he'd look just like him." This sort of a distorted attempt at empathy, these people coming off this massive sequester soul train party. She goes to Chicago, "I'm just like you, except the bullet missed, and now I'm First Lady and you're getting gunned down and somehow my husband's working on it. I gotta get back to the next party at the White House. You be safe now."
Really, folks, I don't... Yeah, she's trying to show them she cares. She's trying to show them that she's not that far removed from her roots and what they are, but that's not true. This is all about them. This is all about Michelle going there and in a calculated way exploit this circumstance. Am I wrong about that? Oh, too much truth?
RUSH: Anyway, back to Michelle. What's she gonna do to stop gang violence? "Hadiya Pendleton was me and I was her." (applauding) (interruption) Who wrote it? Who wrote that for Michelle to say? (interruption) What do you mean, "That line is so..."? How about we're gonna make it harder to gun down our kids? Am I still the only one who thinks that is so beyond the pale?
"Hadiya Pendleton was me and I was her," except in my case, the bullet missed? Is this it? See, I'm too literal. As the mayor of Realville, I take this stuff literally, and all the symbolism? Eh, I'm not for all that. I'm not really crazy about people getting accolades for symbolism. By the way, will Michelle Obama find it worthwhile to be critical of Jay-Z for his lyrics?
RUSH: No, no, no. Folks, I'm just not a style person. I'm a substance guy. Mayor of Realville. I actually have a resentment for people who get where they get on the basis of style. To me it's phoniness. It's insincerity. Style over substance, I call it something else, I'm having a mental block on the word I use for style. Symbolism. Symbolism over substance has always been my -- so Michelle Obama goes out there, "Hadiya Pendleton was me, and I was her." No. No, you weren't Hadiya Pendleton and Hadiya Pendleton is not you and you two never were the same.
I think what really irritates me about it is, if I'm interpreting Mrs. Obama correctly, one of the things she's saying is, "This country is so bad. This country is so messed up -- so whatever -- that it's just the luck of the draw that I got out. It's just the luck of the draw that I wasn't a victim of this kind of violence." And see, with me, analyzing people on the left, they've always got a chip on their shoulder about this country. This country's flaws are what they focus on and exploit and see.
It is not the country's fault that there are out of control gang murders in Chicago. It's not the fault of the Second Amendment. It isn't the fault of the Founding Fathers. It's the fault of the people who are pulling the trigger. In this case, it's young gang members in Chicago. Now, if you want to find out why they exist, go look for it, but don't tell me it's because of the Constitution. And don't tell me it's because of capitalism and unequal distribution of resources which has led to poverty in the inner cities, which has led to young gang members shooting people for the fun of it. But this is, I guess, what they believe. Capitalism has led to poverty, which has led to desperation, and anybody who escapes capitalism is just lucky, or anybody who escapes death, anybody who escapes failure, misery, whatever, in a capitalist system, is just lucky.
So when I hear the president say, "If I had a son, he'd look just like Trayvon," I know what he's doing, and when I hear the first lady compare herself to a murdered teenager, I know what she's doing. And it's a disservice. It's a disservice to the country. I love the country so much. I'm literally depressed over what's happening to it. I'm really mad at how easy it apparently is to turn rationality upside down and to the point that it doesn't exist.
RUSH: Here's Torsa in Mobile Alabama. Hi, Torsa! You are first today. Great to have you with us. Hi.
CALLER: Mega dittos, Rush. Nice to finally talk to you.
RUSH: Thank you very much.
CALLER: I'll get right to the point. I'm a black woman. My views are more conservative. I am not an Obama supporter. I do agree with the majority of things that you say and/or you report. However, I feel that you went too far about Michelle Obama trying to show empathy for the young woman who was gunned down in a senseless crime in Chicago.
RUSH: Interesting. How did I go too far?
CALLER: Well, you kind of mocked it, and you tried to belittle what Michelle was saying. Michelle was similar to this young lady. This young woman was not a gang member. She was an honor student who was gunned down in a senseless crime. She was mistaken for another gang member, which she was not. So Michelle was right in a sense. She was just like this young woman.
RUSH: You know what?
RUSH: You know what, Torsa?
RUSH: You are, for the most part, exactly right. The reason you're exactly right is this is a no-win. Even if I were able to articulate what my real discomfort with this is -- and I'm not able to. It's not that I don't know what it is. I'm just not able to put the words together.
RUSH: Even if I were able to do that the way I want to, nobody's gonna understand it. It's gonna be seen as a diss of Mrs. Obama, and so I should probably just let it go and react to it like everybody else does and say, "How wonderful. It's great that the first lady cares," and just be done with it because there's no upside.
CALLER: Well, Rush, I'm sorry -- and I want to be quick because I know you have other people that you need to take.
RUSH: Don't worry about that. This is your time. This is your time, and you determine how long you're gonna be on by how interesting you are.
CALLER: (chuckles) My point to you is that, you know, by me being... I started listening to you couple years ago right before the first inauguration of Obama. I got hooked on to you by my dad.
RUSH: Thank you very much. I hate to tell you though, it's been more than two years. (laughing)
CALLER: (laughing) Yeah, you're right. More than a couple.
CALLER: My dad, we always talk politics. He got me to listen to you. However, when I first started listening to you, I would continuously turn it off because some of the stuff that you said, some of the points that you made, even though they were correct there was a bias in me.
RUSH: See, here's the thing. Let me try again. My problem with this is there are laws. There are gun laws that are not being prosecuted in Chicago. Chicago's run by the Democrats. Obama's from there. There's no reason for this to be happening in that city. They could be making far more concerted efforts to stop this and punish the perps than they're doing.
So would Mrs. Obama go to her husband and get him to start prosecuting federal gun laws and violations? I mean, we don't need any new gun laws. We got plenty of laws already on the books that make what's happening in Chicago illegal. Why isn't somebody going after these people that are pulling the trigger, instead of exploiting these circumstances for the advancement of the Obamas? That's all I'm trying to say here.
CALLER: Right. And that right there, I could take that point. If I tried to get one of my friends to listen to your show to get a different point of view, if they heard the mockery -- you know, the points that you were making earlier -- they would turn it off, and they would hear no more.
RUSH: What mockery?
CALLER: I took it as you were mocking her as not being sincere.
CALLER: I felt that you weren't.
RUSH: Well, see? That's what I mean. That's my point. No matter how I said what I really think about this, that's gonna be the take, and you're right. I should just leave it alone. There's nothing to be gained here anyway.
RUSH: I'm just saying, we don't need any more gun laws. We've got plenty of gun laws. Mrs. Obama can make all the speeches in the world, but that's not gonna solve the problem -- and having everybody realize how much they care isn't gonna solve the problem. There are ways to deal with this that they are not using in Chicago. It's a shame these people are getting gunned down! I can't believe the death toll in Chicago every month is what it is, and all we hear is we need new gun laws. No, we don't. We've got plenty of laws on the books and they're not being utilized.
CALLER: I concur.
RUSH: Anyway, I appreciate the call out there, Torsa.
I gotta take a quick time-out. Don't go away.
RUSH: Maybe Mrs. Obama could talk to Jay-Z and some of the rappers and get 'em to tone down some of the lyrics that glorify the use of guns? Never mind! Sorry, folks. I didn't really mean to say that. I take it back. Sorry. I can't win no matter what.
Barack Obama’s son gunned down Michelle?
So, did Michelle Obama grow up in a gang and drug infested inner city slum, or a stable working class neighborhood of mainly law-abiding citizens? How about cracking down on lawless gangsters instead of squelching the freedoms of the law-abiding???
Her Royal Hind-Ass has her fat fingers in so many things. Would love to see this porcine princess disappear.
In Michelle’s and Baracks world...empathy..NO SUCH ANIMAL!!
Pandering for votes then it is on!
We need a new law, to make murder illegal in Chicago.
Wherever Big Moo goes she is the bull in the china shop.
Look how she manages to make even this about her. She’s just like her husband in that respect.
Trayvon could have grown up to become president some day, if only corporate America hadn't addicted him to Skittles.
One can see all of the “youth empowerment” they want to see in the mobs attacking innocent white people in malls, restaurants and on the streets.
Her daddy was a Ward Heeler......That's kinda like being a Mafioso's Daughter in Chicago. Things go a little easier for his personal family. Funny never hear too much about his Ward Heeling Career.
How much lower can these two charlatans go?
HomObama and that Female Impersonator wife of his are nothing more than wannabe D-List celebs living large on our dime while claiming they are one of the downtrodden victims of evil capitalism.
Here's the classic Ponzi scheme---Obama sweet talks the Dem suckers into giving him more and more money for "a worthy cause"---to his "non-profit" political organization---then spends it all on himself.
RICH-HATERS IN THE WH The Ohaha's say they hate the rich---but the O's know how to spend OPM. The family blew $1.4B on travel and entertainment for themselves and their numerous personal staffs last year: that's 2000 times more than what the entire British Royal Family cost the UK ($57.8M)----$27 million bucks a week is only the tip of the iceberg:
White House sources claim Michelle (with a staff of 24) went through $10M of taxpayer money last year on just her own private trips and shopping sprees, with one calling the First Lady's self-indulgent spending orgy -including extravagant massages, top-shelf booze, and five-star hotels 'disgusting'.
NRO tallied what taxpayers are paying for the Ohaha's living in the White House: $1.4 billion per year: Air Force One ($181,757 per hour), executive chef ($100,000 per year), three full-time White House calligraphers ($ 277,050 per year for the trio), chief of staff to the presidents dog ($102,000 per year), Ohaha's royal motorcade ($2.2 million).
$1.4 BILLION is the current annual cost of the White House just in household expenses, not including US policy operations for which the WH exists-- administered by some 900 parasites---policy staff recruited by Ohaha.
Annually, Ohaha vacations cost $20 million (the low estimate for Ohaha's Hawaii vacay was $4 million, but the true cost is probably five times that); the first familys yearly health-care costs are $7 million; more than $6 million is spent on the White House grounds each year. Transportation costs were a staggering $346 million last year.
The O' kids were flying aroound to the Bahamas and Sun Valley.....while US kids were shut out of the WH supposedly due to sequestration Secret Service cutbacks. The O's galivanting teen daughter was spotted in NYC last week---with girlfriends---dining at the pricey Buddakan, scoffing up rock shrimp, edamame dumplings, short ribs, lobster fried rice........replete w/ five Secret Service guards dining nearby, while students her age were denied access to the people's house.
LEARNING TOUR? M/M O pictured w/ partly-shrunken Ivory Coast official 2009.
Malibu home of Ivory Coast dictator's son.
The oil-rich Ivory Coast has one of the worst human rights records in Africa whose rulers are accused of funneling millions of public monies into their own pockets. But now it looks like the son of the dictator----Teodoro---whose world comprised yachts, Bugattis, and Michael Jackson memorabiliacould come crashing down, according to Foreign Policy (via Curbed).
Foreign Policy's Ken Silverstein reported that after a four-year investigation into alleged extortion and laundering of $100 million in the US and "theft of public funds, or other corrupt conduct" back at home, the Justice Department has filed notice of a lawsuit involving the possible seizure of Tedoro's California mansion, and other assets.
And French investigators just seized millions of dollars' worth of his sports cars, while the Spanish government is investigating the entire Obiang clan. Teodoro reportedly hasn't spent much time stateside recently, in part thanks to various legal actions against him.
Just a peek inside the insane world of Teodoro---he first came to the U.S. to attend Pepperdine University in Malibu. While tuition cost just $3,400, he managed to blow through $50,000 in the first five months before dropping out. Source: Business insier--LA Weekly.
Teodoro is listed as the owner of this $35 million mansion on the Malibu coast, which he paid for in cash. It was the most expensive home sold in California in 2006, and has a tennis court, swimming pool and 4-hole golf course.
Teodoro's on the government payroll as "minister of agriculture and forestry," and supposedly makes just $5,000 per month. But his Malibu home contains $60,000 worth of rugs, a $58,000 home theater and a $1,734 pair of wine glasses.
Mrs O wore her pricey diamond bangles sat a DNC fund-raiser last Sept, attended by "tolerant and compassionate" Dems....raised big bucks to keep Mr O in office so he could work for "the poor." Her diamond Gothic cuff was priced at $15,350 set with 2.17 carats in diamonds and the Quatrefoil bracelet at $11,800 set with 1.73 carats in diamonds. (Excerpt) Read more at houston.culturemap.com
Mrs O wowed all the "tolerant and compassionate" Dems who hate the rich and support endless tax-paid programs "for the poor."Her diamond Gothic cuff was priced at $15,350 set with 2.17 carats in diamonds and the Quatrefoil bracelet at $11,800 set with 1.73 carats in diamonds. (Excerpt) Read more at houston.culturemap.com
Mrs O's a self-described "busy single mother"........ with 24 WH assistants.
The invite explains to Dems: You may ask why the fund-raiser and the reason is twofold....we've built a large campaign operation melding a 2 million grass-roots army of volunteers with ground-breaking technology . . . We cant let Republicans catch up. The White House alone doesnt have the manpower or the resources to withstand Republican attacks and control the message......The DNC is the only organization whose sole mission is to support the president and help him pass his agenda...such as gun control or immigration reform.
Dems whine---"Wed like to see some results for the money weve already given Obama." The suckers have seen it but can't believe it----endless golf outings, multiple vacations in Hawaii, ski trips to Aspen, Vail & Sun Valley. Mrs O's diamond jewelry collection, closets full of designer dresses, buying his legacy, financing her campaign for elective office.
A classic Ponzi scheme---Obama sweet talks the suckers into giving him money for "a worthy cause" then spends it all on himself and his wife....living large on OPM.
Remember when 2012 candidate Obama bragged that he was so popular, he was being showered with campaign donations---and that he was the "first billion dollar candidate"?
And remember when later in the campaign he suddenly announced he had to "borrow" money to continue campaigning?
So what happened to the billion? Did Republicans demand to seee the FEC reports--Obama was required to file by law? Did Repubs demand to know why he had to borrow money to finish his campaign if he had a billion dollars?
UNCLE OBAMA---legacy freak
Is there a pattern here?
Mrs O was roundly criticized for her scary appearance at the Oscars---the buzz is that those in the seats heaved a collective groan when she appeared. Post-Oscar stories left her out of the reports centered on red carpet apparel---one star's dress was designed by the same designer as Mrs O's dress. But reports ommitted any mention of her or her dress.
LOYAL DEMOCRATS LIKE DONNY DEUTSCH WEIGHED IN: "As far as I'm concerned, she was an uninvited guest. Now what I mean by that is (as an advert guru), you have to give the consumer, the viewer, the ultimate respect. They tuned in to watch movie stars, to watch movies. And all of a sudden, politics is thrown at them."
"If I want to watch her on Jimmy Fallon, that's okay. But, (the Awards)---that was an intrusion, and I have a feeling that three out of four Americans -- Democrat or Republican -- don't want to see the First Lady (there). I think you have to respect your audience enough to not impose her, that's not a moment we're looking for there---the President or the First Lady," Deutsch said on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight."
DONNY CONTINUED: "....the tone of it, it was almost a monarch quality.....an elitist flavor to it. I was watching and going, 'huh?' and I'm a Democrat," Deutsch told host Piers Morgan. "I just thought it was very very tone deaf and I was really surprised they did it," Deutsch concluded.
If this keeps up, pretty soon the self-serving O's will be depicted as the new Juan and Evita (/snix).
One could even say Ohaha's using the "Argentina Strategy." He and his wife see themselves with unlimited power---employing military strongmen to keep the we, the rabble in check---while duping the citizenry into thinking they are "humanitarians.
SOUND FAMILIAR? The Perons bankrupted Argentina, took savage, total power by confiscating money from the rich-----and letting Evita bestow the money on the poor, in numerous well-publicized "acts of charity."
Evita traveled around in luxurious designer fashions, furs and lavish jewels; she was infatuated w/ Hollywood. Reigning movie queen Lana Turner saw Evita adopt her look and hair styles--- and was alarmed when her jewelry was confiscated so that Evita could get it copied.
Course, I may be a bit cynical (cackle)......but Hollywood coming down hard on Michele's scary Oscar visibility could be reason Obama might consider ordering the dreaded drones and DHS tanks to roll over Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Malibu, and like environs.
Can you post the picture of her walking BO where she looks like a Cracker!!
Why isn’t ANY MEDI person asking JOE MANCHIN WHERE HE GOT HIS MONEY TO BUY AND MAINTAIN THAT YACHT?????

Joe Walsh said on the radio Thursday night, and reiterated Friday, that perhaps people should ignore concealed carry laws in order to protect themselves from crime.
