FOX NEWS: Jacob Conway, who is on the committee of Kentucky’s Jefferson County Democratic Party, revealed to Megyn Kelly moments ago that members of the liberal activist group Progress Kentucky bragged to him that they had made a secret recordings of a meeting held by Senator Mitch McConnell (R) without his consent.

Earlier this week, tapes were released of McConnell and his aides discussing challengers in the upcoming election, particularly actress Ashley Judd. The FBI is now investigating the incident.

According to Conway, Progress Kentucky’s Sean Riley and Curtis Morrison were in the hallway of McConnell’s campaign headquarters after an event ended, when they overheard a conversation they considered offensive, and decided to record it.

Its only illegal if you aren’t a democrat. For example that young guy who exposed all those activities at Planned Parenthood and Acorn.

I’m of two minds on this. On one hand I think every moment of a politicians life should be recorded simply on general principle. On the other hand if these creeps did indeed violate some State or Federal law I hope they get the book thrown at them.

He must think he’s an “elderly couple” driving through Florida and happened to record a cell phone call, huh?

The concept of single party consent to recording a conversation implies that at least one participant of a conversation consents to being recorded. James O'Keefe was that one party in all of his recordings, since he was an active particpant in the conversation. None of the participants in the conversation in Mitch McConnell's office gave their consent. The people doing the recording were not part of the conversation.

Does that clear that up?

I’m wondering if there’s a security video which shows the people standing outside the door doing the recording at the time in question.

It's absolutely a violation of the law.

If what they did isn't illegal, Anthony Pellicano's lawyer needs to file a writ of habeas corpus yesterday.

Sounds like the Dem realizes a Federal rap is a real possibility including complicity, so he rats them out. Smart move.

Sorry, I missed that way of thinking . . . You're right . . . even though he's a worthless RINO, they're already dragging him across the coals. He's eaves dropped on a gorgeous airhead . . . Hanging's too good.

Think about it.

Invitation only opening at secure private campaign HQ. Staff sweeps of building sending visitors home or to 1st floor lobby.

According to KYDNC two political hacks accidently overhear staff meeting while strolling innocently down a hallway of a private building that they were not invited to, they then hit the record button.

Priceless Federal Felony
