I’ll settle for Rand Paul. I will not settle for the lower-tier RINOs though, like Christie, Rubio, or another Bush.

It's not going to matter. The Hildabeast will be elected (95%) chance & if not her it will be a dem.

Lying about Palin is the most popular pastime of many so called ‘conservatives’. Her position was debated for months rehashed endlessly and in no way could by considered amnesty since no actual illegal could mathematically ever get approved as a citizen.

In short, it was ‘Go to the back of the line, but as new people apply (legally) the illegals keep getting pushed back.

And they had to return to their home countries to wait.

One of his constituents might want to send this on to Rubio. (Stolen from today’s Silliness thread but I don’t see anything funny about it.)

AN ILLEGAL POEM
By Illegal Immigrants

I cross river,
Poor and broke,
Take bus,
See employment folk.

Nice man
Treat me good in there,
Say I need
Go see Welfare.

Welfare say,
‘You come no more,
We send cash
Right to your door.’

Welfare checks,
They make you wealthy,
Medicaid
It keep you healthy!

By and by,
Got plenty money,
Thanks to you,
TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends
In motherland,
Tell them
‘come, fast as you can’

They come in buses
And Chevy trucks,
I buy big house
With welfare bucks.

They come here,
We live together,
More welfare checks,
It gets better!

Fourteen families,
They moving in,
But neighbor’s patience
Wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
Moves away,
I buy his house,
And then I say,

‘Find more aliens
For house to rent.’
In my yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
They just trash,
But they, too,
Draw welfare cash!

Everything is
Very good,
Soon we own
Whole neighborhood..

We have hobby
It called breeding,
Welfare pay
For baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
Running here.

We think America
Darn good place!
Too darn good
For white man race.

If they no like us,
They can go,
Got lots of room
In Mexico.

Rubio was also among the lawmakers who joined Obama for his second closed-door dinner on Wednesday, just two days ago.

I don’t see Rubio ever living in the White House.

He has no "constituents". He does not represent Florida or the people of Florida. He represents himself.

Send it to him. He won't read it. But send it anyway.

Well maybe we should wait for a definitive statement on her view. I admit she has been pretty flexible on the amnesty issue.

I haven't heard any outrage from her on this evil gun legislation yet either.

Someone better rise to the task or we will have been as bamboozled as the people in the Third Reich.

A lot of Cubans look like they have black blood.

Besides, does your statement really mean anything in this world today? Hispanics are ganging up on the whites from every angle. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

Personally, I wouldn’t give Obama or any other democrats the time of day.

These are the same tactics Marco Rubio claimed to oppose during the Obamacare debate (while he was running for office).

Disagree slightly. Marco’s allegiance is to himself. He has Beltway fever just like Boehner and McConnell. All they care about is person gain. We now live in a banana republic with such leaders.

Rubio has been promised the GOP big money for 2016 and is now going all in. He is just doing the bidding of the big business/donor wing of the GOP.

Not that I am aware of, and I can forgive one flaw in an otherwise excellent candidate like her.

Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?

No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

and I can forgive one flaw in an otherwise excellent candidate like her.

An amnesty will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen.

Governor, let me ask you about immigration. How many undocumented immigrants are there in Alaska?

I don't know, I don't know. That's a good question.

As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported?

There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.

Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?

No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. What is your strategy? How are you planning to win the latino vote?

I will tell you, I wish that there were more hours in the day so that we can get out there and to more of the communities with such the strong Latino vote that is out there and really tell them that we desire to work for them. We are asking them to hire us and let us work for them.

Thank you so much. It would be impossible to ask you to say a few words in Spanish, right?

Oh my good-well, I don't want to embarrass myself, but … but gracias and I do thank you so much for this opportunity. I appreciate it.

Thank you, muchas gracias, thank you.

We are being colonized by the Third World.

The U.S. adds one international migrant (net) every 36 seconds. Immigrants account for one in 8 U.S. residents, the highest level in more than 90 years. In 1970 it was one in 21; in 1980 it was one in 16; and in 1990 it was one in 13. In a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest it has been in our history. And by 2050, one in 5 residents of the U.S. will be foreign-born.

Currently, 1.6 million legal and illegal immigrants settle in the country each year; 350,000 immigrants leave each year, resulting in a net immigration of 1.25 million. Since 1970, the U.S. population has increased from 203 million to 310 million, i.e., over 100 million. In the next 40 years, the population will increase by an additional 130 million to 440 million. Three-quarters of the increase in our population since 1970 and the projected increase will be the result of immigration. The U.S., the world’s third most populous nation, has the highest annual rate of population growth of any developed country in the world, i.e., 0.9% (2012 estimate,) principally due to immigration.

The nation’s immigrant population (legal and illegal) reached 40 million in 2010, the highest number in our history. The U.S. immigrant population has doubled since 1990, nearly tripled since 1980, and quadrupled since 1970, when it stood at 9.7 million. Of the 40 million immigrants in the country in 2010, 13.9 million arrived in 2000 or later making it the highest decade of immigration in American history, even though there was a net loss of jobs during the decade. Growth in the immigrant population has primarily been driven by high levels of legal immigration. Roughly three-fourths of immigrants in the country are here legally. With nearly 12 million immigrants, Mexico was by far the top immigrant-sending country, accounting for 29 percent of all immigrants and 29 percent of growth in the immigrant population from 2000 to 2010. The median age of immigrants in 2010 was 41.4 compared to 35.9 for natives.

Simply not true. Palin has used the convoluted language of the amnesty supporters. McCain claimed that his plan was not an amnesty. So did Obama, Kennedy, Rubio, Graham, etc.

John McCain and Barack Obama studiously avoided the term “amnesty” to describe their comprehensive immigration reform plans and despite the evidence, baldly declared that it was not an amnesty. Instead, they used such euphemisms as “getting to the back of the line,” “an earned path to citizenship,” and “coming out of the shadows.” The Democrats and pro-amnesty crowd know full well that the American people are against amnesty, hence the avoidance of the “A” word.

Any legislation that legalizes the status of those who broke our laws by entering our country illegally and allows them to stay and work here is amnesty. We must not only prevent the Democrats and some moderate Republicans from hijacking the meaning of the word amnesty, but the public must be made aware about the true impact of an amnesty. The Heritage Foundation concluded that the cost of amnesty would be $2.6 trillion just for increased entitlement program costs. And the number of additional LEGAL immigrants who would join those who were the recipients of amnesty through chain migration, i.e., family reunification, would approach 70 million over a 20-year period, assuming there are only 12 million illegal aliens. We cannot assimilate such numbers. An amnesty would destroy the United States of America with the stroke of a pen.

I have worked on the immigration issue for over six years and lobbied on the Hill and in Richmond. I understand how our opponents use language to fool and disguise what they mean. I have analyzed almost everything Palin has said on the issue. She uses the language of amnesty supporters talking about those who "played by the rules" should be allowed to stay.

Provide me with just one source where Palin says she is against amnesty using the real definition, i.e., being allowed to stay and work here. You will find none. And I have no doubt she will support Rubio and the Gang of 8 when they announce their plan.

That is not quite true.

There certainly are RINOs and low information types around here.

Look at this from 2010. Way after the 2008 election. This more clearly shows Palin’s own personal opinion about immigration. Now, if conservatives keep getting played by the RINOs and democrats, they will never be able to defeat them. Eyes Open!

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/sarah-palin-takes-stand-immigration-controversial-arizona-law/story?id=10707136#.UWiY1L9V9e8

This was not difficult to find nor is it difficult to believe. Palin obviously supported Jan Brewer (Rubio did not) and Ted Cruz. Why would any of you assume she agrees with that traitor Rubio? Not only do RINOs pretend to be conservatives, they also trash real conservatives to make themselves look better. Romney was the king of that tactic. So if you know they’re RINOs be suspicious of everything they do or say, but if you know they’re conservative, give them plenty of grace. At least until you hear it straight from their own mouths. Wake up Conservatives! Don’t let them snooker you again.

Hate speech?

What, are you some kind of political correctness Nazi?

It is not "hate speech" to point out that Rubio's loyalty is to his Hispanic heritage rather than the American Citizens he was elected to represent. He is angling for the illegal alien vote.

And BTW, in America "Hispanic" is a "Race" regardless of whether or not the Hispanic is brown or white as a sheet.

When you start accusing Freepers of engaging in "Hate Speech" you are using the tactics of the liberals to shut down debate.

You have been here a long time and you should know better?

That’s what we’re trying to tell you. You have NO reason to believe Sarah Palin doesn’t still support John McCAin. That’s all she’s said is agreement with him. It’s past time she distances herself from him. Why hasn’t she said ANYTHING about immigration? She’s got an opinion on everything else.

WE MUST ROOT THESE INFILTRATORS OUT! THey are out to destroy conservatism and we are funding them! It’s the same bunch behind the scenes EVERY TIME.

Rubio must be voted out....he is a Norquist/Rove/Bush man!!! Part of what they’ve done is hijack several ‘tea party’ names for fundraising and they use the $$$ AGAINST US!

BTW, His mother told him that illegal aliens are “just like us”.

If we are going to let everyone into the county who is "just like us" then let's just shut down all the pretense of having a border patrol and let everyone who can make it to the country in and grant them immediate citizenship.

In fact, lets just grant American citizenship to everyone in the world and let them vote in our elections via absentee ballots.

We shouldn't discriminate against anyone who wants to take advantage of our welfare state. It's not fair!

“In fact, lets just grant American citizenship to everyone in the world and let them vote in our elections via absentee ballots.”

Earlier this evening, there was a freeper who demanded exactly that, only for Chinese people....said we should take ‘em all. That’s a WHOLE bunch of Chinamen!!

Like I said, no cure for crazy.

Good night, P-Marlowe.

Obviously you did not look at the information I supplied.

It’s not that she’s not talking. It’s that some people don’t want to listen. The information is out there. But you’ve got to wonder why some want to bypass more recent information to play up the old stuff.

“Marco Rubio’s allegiance is to his race rather than his country. “

You have sized Rubio up exactly.

The GOP’s version of Obama.

Palin supports AZ 1070 and the enforcement of federal immigration laws. But she has not said that she supports deportation or attrition thru enforcement aka Romney's self-deportation.

The problem is that our MSM doesn't know enough about the subject to nail her down like Univision did. Every politician gives lip service to securing the border and enforcing the laws. The question to Palin should be what should be done with the 11 to 20 million illegal aliens who are in the country? What is her answer to that? The same one she provided in the Univision interview?

Can you supply her answer to that question?
