Authorities have confirmed that an apparent bomb addressed to Maricopa, Ariz., County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was uncovered and diverted, and now investigators are beginning to look into a list of his enemies for any links or connections.
Those who have had conflicts with him, those who might be coming under investigation, those who have been unsuccessful in fights with him.
That should be a job.
Arpaio, who has described himself as the “toughest sheriff in America,” has had conflicts over the past few years with advocates for illegal immigration, those who don’t like his enforcement of state laws in Arizona, and those who don’t like him investigating certain topics, including the validity of Barack Obama’s birth documentation. Others don’t like him because he’s been aggressive in fighting the war on illegal immigration in his border state, and his stand on law-and-order.

Entire books have been written about the problems with the “birth certificate” that was released by the White House purportedly documenting Obama’s birth in Hawaii.

The special cold case posse investigators said there is probable cause to believe there was forgery in the creation of the birth document presented and fraud in its presentation to the people of Arizona as a valid document.
Christopher Monckton of Brenchley found himself agreeing, after going through the probabilities that each of the anomalies in the document was a random error.
He said he figured the chances of all of those circumstances simply developing at one in 62,500,000,000,000,000,000. (That’s 62.5 quintillion).

IIRC, any package over 13 oz must be give directly to a clerk. It cannot be left in a mail drop or it will be returned to sender. The policy was implemented when I was working at the post office as a post master relief. Unless the regulation has changed, the bomber would have had to stand in line and personally hand the mail clerk the package.
Definitely an Obama Supporter/Anti-Birther..... and I would not rule out a PhonyCon GOP Anti-Birther either (they have been as bad as Dems when supporting Obama on the Eligibility issue)

As if Joe Arpaio goes out to his mailbox and opens an unexpected package, or the mail clerk at the Sheriff's office gives him the package, and he opens it.
It's fantasy, no chance for success, but that probably doesn't really matter much to the bomber.
They wouldn’t want to make it look TOO “natural” because then it wouldn’t have the intimidation effect. A heart attack dart doesn’t convert into the right amount of scare if it’s on somebody who would be expected to have a heart attack. It only works on people like Breitbart, Stephanie Tubbs, Kam Kuwata, etc.
Of course, if they think that intimidation won’t work then they have to do something that just gets the job done. A situation kinda like how Judge John Roll was killed, where it can’t be proven who the real target was. Or where the shooter just “snaps” and gets suicide by cop, like Bill Gwatney. Or Chris Stevens and Brian Terry, where they are deliberately put in an unprotected position where their enemies will kill them (the old Uriah technique...).
The trouble with the Ozombies showing their full deck of cards so quickly is that we know what their hand looks like so it neither surprises nor fools us. But none of the “cool kids” are willing to raise the questions or dig for answers so it just ends with a greater chasm between those who understand the real and extreme danger of a foreign enemy combatant in our White House, and those who are suicidally (and willfully, in many instances) blind.

I agree that it doesn’t seem like it would be somebody upset over the border issue, because we’ve got illegals coming in and laughing when they’re caught, because they say Obama will just let them go anyway.
Hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of this. If it’s a federal investigation under the authority of Eric Holder he’ll make sure they don’t. If it’s a local investigation under the authority of Clarence Dupnik he’ll make sure they don’t. The USPS folks might be the best bet, at this point.
We do need to keep all those folks down there in our prayers, because they are our front line of defense on a number of issues, and they have fought valiantly. They are confronting a war with the Mexican drug cartels who are supported by our own foreign-enemy-combatant-run government. And that combatant-run government is tying AZ’s hands in every way possible through lawsuits, policies, and executive orders.
I would dearly love it if little Davey was able to get one well-placed stone in the forehead of Goliath and bring him down. I suspect that is what they are afraid of, and right now Sheriff Joe has one move that’s offense rather than defense.
Let me add that the stone in the forehead that brings Goliath down is not referring to death. I don’t want Obama or his supporters dead, unless it comes through full due process of law so everybody can see what has been done and know why the penalty is justified.
Could be anyone, but I'd start with former inmates, Mexican drug cartels, or the 0bama administration.
