I was debating getting the Dragunov style stock, but it would require modification of the gas tube, and I did not want to do permanent modifications.
Swapped out the original Romanian 4x scope with a Belarus 6x POSP, added a harris style bipod.
She’s gonna be purty.

Try this.
Classic Finishing Techniques
I used the beeswax, boiled linseed oil and turpentine on my K31, but it already had some kind of finish on it. I also used it on my son's M44 after I took off most of the shellac.

I had a bad feeling when I saw tracer ammo cheap a few months ago. Sure enough, some idiot burned down the indoor DFW gun range.
I remember that a few months ago.
MY dad lives is a deep blue state. He was stunned (by beeber even) that I could buy them here in a free state.

I am afraid that bees wax might cloud the iridescent figure, and prevent it from “popping”
The manufacturer provided a test piece of wood to practice finishes.
I will give it a try.
