Earlier (roughly 7 eastern) ABC had a brief live report (video) of an apparent SWAT team showing up at a hospital (looks like Mass Gen, I used to live there?), ...Fox is just now getting to this.
FBI were on the scene very early, regardless what “code Black” wanted to call it, everybody knew otherwise just what this was about...He’s not trusted..and he earned that.
But yes a good sign he “pissed” them off...

That is a key difference between an international terrorist and our homegrown mass shooter types.
The homegrown sort wants to outdo the body count of the one before him.
Exactly, and I'm sure the Obama administration will find some angle to put a gun control spin on the bombings too.
And if Obama does find a way to blame this on the Bush administration, that would be doubly ironic, since it was Bush who started the whole "religion of peace" nonsense.
If the objective is terror, that means psychological impact. When the leaders pass through with no problems, it underscores normalcy, and that means greater disorientation (psychological impact) later when all hell breaks loose.
The more the act seems senseless, the more terror it generates. If it made perfect sense to the average person, they'd know how to better their odds to avoid it and it would not have the same impact as a seemingly random event.
As an added attraction for terrorists, there will be more victims in the fat part of the bell curve for finishing runners than in the thin end of that curve which finishes first.
It's all sick. But if the timing was planned that way, that would likely be why--to maximize impact.
Swear I just heard the Boston police mentioning ‘Elizabeth Warren’ on the scanner. Then it all went silent. Weird.

Unless of course they are ‘recruited’ to pull it off. Which I understand the Terrorist now look for Americans to do the work, often thru the prison system who can reveal contacts etc.....usually have poor family relations, often with at least a minor police record.
So even if home grown......I tend to think they'll be some pretty dark, murky creatures lurking behind the scenes in this case.
Interesting...FBI can zero right in on that individual shot......which since it’s on the web I tend to think he’s likely not affiliated or they wouldn’t let it out there.
Seems to me if they wanted to make a profound statement they would have planted the bombs under the grandstands rather than on the street...where the dignitaries and VIPS sat.
However I tend to think if this is terrorism...possible they hired some of our kids to try to pull this off....they do recruit for such a thing...and kids don't think much about what they're doing...they act and run!
Looking at some of the pictures, the damage seems to be very directional. Military Claymores?
In one video, there is a blue banner that gets puffed out by the blast, and the people in the street get shock effects but no shrapnel. Unfortunates on the other side get, frankly, shredded. Windows in the direct line get turned to dust but windows a few feet away are OK.
A Claymore or some other directional device is my guess. If so it raises the bar as to who did this.
Pretty interesting cause you know those of us who know these animals know they always have someone to film the act. Could just be someone wondering what the hey just happened too. A little skeptical of the source on that...’Anonymous’ group of hackers. Other photos are leaking of others on rooftops..but would not be unheard of at a big event...i.e. security.
Yes, “Shots” as in photographs.
There are always those who will take those shots anyway, and creeps who will buy them and print them. ....we live in evil times..

maybe more security near the VIPs made placement difficult.
I think from now onward there’s going to be alot of wrong information getting out there....also the media will milk this out til it’s dry.
Windows on the second floor were broken.....and if you watch the Boston.com video you can see the huge fire flare as the bomb goes off....I have concerns some have bad burns.
The implications of that are a lot less disturbing.
The Head Surgeon called these “waves”......as people entered the Hospital....apparently people who work in tramatic events know and are prepared for this...and the timing involved as they come.
