It was always going to be a problem with Rubio. You could smell it a mile away. I remember when he was being pimped here; I was thinking I didn’t trust him with illegal amnesty.

I remember how people were cheering for him and praising his every word after he was elected.

I was telling people to wait at least a year before heaping praise on him.

How many times have we seen this template?

Indeed. And it was the same with just about all of our recent presidential candidates like Santorum, Newt, etc. I could never, ever trust them after hearing their responses to the I.I. questions. As you said, "You could smell it." Ironically, it was Mitt Romney who had the most Constitutional position on I.I.

The latest disappointment on the issue is Rand Paul. That one was unexpected for me, but I supposed it shouldn't have been.
