From a cop friend in Boston– A former partner says there was a reporter at the hospital in Boston. She overheard police saying they have video of the suspect dropping bombs into the garbage cans.

Why it's just like an eyewitness report. A reporter overheard some cops talking, told a "former partner," who told a cop friend who told Jim Hoft. Nothing like reliable sources. I'd hate to think we were relying on rumor and innuendo.
