My question is: Why does New York go on high alert for terror that occurred in Boston? Isn’t it sort of, I don’t know, self-centered of them to think they would be a target, possibly taking away emergency help from Boston? Boston is the place dealing with terror, not NY.
NY has always been considered the No. 1 target.
New York has a target on their back. Not only that, but with the surrounding communities having been involved to a fifty mile radius, just about everyone at least knowing a family who hoped for two weeks, going up to the station finally to retrieve the car, etc. they are post traumatic.
Of course they’re self centered; but there’s that too.
We don’t know how many of these were avoided during the last 12 years.
Of course, it is self centered. But NYC thinks EVERYTHING is about them.
“I dont know, self-centered of them to think they would be a target”
Uh no, just prudent. NY is always a target for terrorists, they need to react quickly when something happens just in case.
Because New York City is the capitol of the nation for everything except federal.
Maybe the suspect(s) lived in NYC?
Respectful answer: If 3,000 people had been incinerated by terrorists in my neighborhood, I’d want my city to be on guard today, as well. NYC has a lot of security that won’t be requested for duty in Boston. It would be a scandal if something happened, and they were not on alert. Thank you.
New York’s the number one target and they know it. 9/11 was a multicity attack where NYC was ground zero and the whole country wrnt into high alert.
They’re just doing their job and trying to keep people safe. Jeesh!
Why do you assume Boston is the only target for terror today or any other day?
