There is a take-home lesson here. However this pans out, who’s directly responsible, and their motives, it can probably be said with a high degree of certainty that it will be somehow linked to liberals and liberal policies. I highly doubt it was someone protesting public school curicula, green energy, obamacare, the removal of God from public life, or gay marriage. If it was a saudi, connected to middle east terrorism, the left was complicit in getting him here with their insane immigration policies, lax enforcement, disarming the citizenry, and appeasement of islamic terrorists at every turn. They blamed “right wingers” from the get-go and need to wear responsibility for this like an albatross around the neck, long after the initial shock dies away.
The Romans had a phrase, which I cannot spell, (but only pronounce), so I will state its meaning: The outrage of atrocities are weakened only by their repetition. This has always haunted me. You are right, we are being weakened to a point of accepting the unacceptable. We are becoming interior people, afraid to speak up, to take a stand, and that IS unacceptable.

Totally agree. Seems like sarcasm, bad humor, and FAR right hysteria has run amok on FR.
As I said in another thread, a government that would give guns to people knowing full well they would murder with them and hopefully generate a backlash against gun ownership is capable of a lot of unthinkable things.
These guys supply many of the vendors at sporting events, and I have found it is the only way to get that same flavor, which I love.
But Revere is definitely a place where a lot of illegal activity goes on.
Must be a hotbed of Tea Party activity.
This is one of the cases where political correctness is actually really getting us killed.
Normal, thinking people understand that when something happens, to figure out why it happened or who did it, you need to look at history before anything else. While it is true the bombing might have been perpetrated by Bozo the Clown, Pat Buchanan, the 89 year old guy who lives across the street, or Sister Mary Elephant, rational people agree that it is less likely.
Given history, it is more likely to be a male follower of Islam between the ages of 17 and 45.
But there is an asinine requirement, rooted in liberalism (the same religion that requires all cultures to be viewed as equally relevant, important and beneficial) that all options have to be viewed as equally likely.
