The place has gone downhill ever since they closed the dog track. Ahhhhhhh...Wonderland...the smell of the crowds, the hot beer and the cold dogs.....ummmmmmmmmmmmm.
There used to be a strip joint there, on the beach. The place was bad in ‘83. My guess is that it hasn’t gotten any better.
Otherwise known as “Tampon Beach.” Although I do remember the Stop and Shop having some awesome variety. Only grocery store I’ve ever seen to have a Spanish foods section AND a Mexican one. And some great jarred Indian sauces that I’ve never found since.
