REVERE, Mass. -- FBI agents searched a suburban Boston apartment overnight.
7News spoke with Mohammed Bada, a resident of that apartment. Check out the video for what he had to say.

Early in the interview, I thought I heard Bada say the detained Saudi was his cousin.
BTW, there are about 1,000 Saudi students in the Boston area.
There is a report that the three Saudi's are from the Yemen-Saudi order area, wealthy families.
The FBI didn't detain him but you can bet he's being watched.
I thought John Kerry said foreign students were all terrified of being shot in the US.
I don’t think the guy did it...
.... he wouldn’t wait around a ‘ticking’ bomb...especially not close enough to be as injured with the burns they’ve reported he had....and not so foolish as to go to a hospital for assistance.
However the authorities have said “no stone unturned” which would include him and others as well.
Those were Japanese students parents.
So, he didn’t know about the bombing and he didn’t know what the police took from the apartment. Riiiiight. The reporter tried to play it off as a language barrier but the guy was speaking very well and at the end he laughed and sounded very “American” in the way he said you guys need to let me get to school. Whether his friend/cousin had anything to do with it, this guy was very much in lie-to-the-infidels mode.
Just heard on Fox the Saudi kid has been RULED OUT as the bomber.

My guess the attackers were probing the crowd looking for the most effective placement. The is a BOLO report looking for a person of interest that tried to access the bleacher area and was turned away.
Perhaps the detained Saudi lost track of time and the blast occurred while he was nearby guarding the bomb drop.
Almost certainly the bombs were on a timer. The detainee suffered a minor leg wound from shrapnel so he was nearly at a safe distance, took off running and was tackled by a citizen and held.
Distraction, evasion and classic dissembling answers.
Pressure Cooker bomb, it means either Pakistani, Bangladeshi, or Afghani are involved. They had good practice on Indians.

There has been some disinformation so far. He may be involved in some other way, lookout, etc.
I agree, it seems unlikely that the three Saudi roommates were directly involved as they would have arrested/detained Bada.
I just don’t think this is the guy.....his face book and the information about him is pretty typical for a SAudi Student.....one has to consider their culture upbringing.....guns and such are not unusual...”pretty “ ones at that are a status symbol.
His legs were burned....if you look at the fire blast he could have easily just been watching the race as others who were injured.
Just doesn’t stack up....I still do not think he’s the guy.

Pressure cooker bombs have been around for some time as you say. The technology is widely available on the internet.
This style of bombing attack, the loose Saudi connection, non-government target, big crowd target, smacks of AQ.
Big Bada-Boom!
Which could mean absolutely nothing.
