The Saudi national injured during the bomb attacks at the Boston Marathon Monday has been cleared and is no longer even a person of interest, intelligence officials told lawmakers Tuesday.
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper briefed members of the Senate Intelligence Committee behind closed doors in a pre-scheduled hearing that was supposed to focus on the budget, but Clapper began with an update of the bombings. Ranking Republican Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) emerged from the briefing and said he was told the 22-year old Saudi student who was injured during the bombings and remains in the care of a local hospital was no longer a focus of investigators.
"He was never categorized as a suspect; he was a person of interest. My understanding is that he totally cooperated and that he is no longer a person of interest," Chambliss said.
Asked if there were any other persons of interest at this time, Chambliss said, "Not that I know of."

Wrong place at the wrong time. Like I mentioned on another thread, it is important not to get too hung up on one suspect on this or any other unconfirmed facts until the final answers come out. Early on there are a lot of hazy stories.
I have serious doubts about all of this. We will never hear the truth.
So, with all the cameras at the marathon, no one knows a thing? That is very odd. I am hoping they just haven’t gotten to it otherwise something fishy is going on.
I wish the media would only report the facts of the incident. What they are doing now is just polluting minds with misinformation.

Since they the gov say they don’t know who did it you know it’s Muslims.
Either way the result will be an increase in government power (DHS , big sis etc) with a corresponding decrease in individual freedom and rights of law abiding Americans( a cracking down on Americans and taking away of their gun rights).
But this is the result of every crisis real or manufactured
nothing will be done to foreign Muslims who caused it except to let more in on Visas
So, an unknown bomber or bombers on the loose, the authorities act as if the two explosives were the end. Who knows what / where another IED(s) or heaven forbid VBIED turn up.
Napolitano hasn't even bothered to raise public awareness yet, so that the public won't get panicked.
If the bomber is somehow connected to Arab groups, we will NEVER know about it..this administration will do everything in its power to cover this up..they will blame the right, as usual..and the media will go right along with it..why do you think they keep on bringing up “Tax Day” they are planting the seeds because they need to..they probably already know it was some Islamist connected to Saudi Arabia or Iran but they wont say it because they stand hand in hand with the arabs
