Congressman on Gosnell Media Blackout: 'We Can’t Discuss the Murder of Babies in Our Country'

Pennsylvania Congressman Scott Perry (R) had some harsh words for the media blackout of the Kermit Gosnell murder trial in his state.

Appearing on NewsMaxTV's Steve Malzberg Show Tuesday, Perry said, "This is what we’ve come to. We can’t discuss the murder of grown women and babies in our country" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

STEVE MALZBERG, HOST: The unwillingness to even recognize what’s going on here is a huge part of the problem.

CONGRESSMAN SCOTT PERRY (R-PENNSYLVANIA): Well it is. That is indeed a huge part of the problem. They refuse to recognize any of it, and when they do, they can barely come to terms with reporting it accurately. These are live babies and these are live, full-grown women that have lost their lives, and they refuse to discuss it. I brought it to the House floor on Friday morning, and at that point, I named all the major news outlets, and they refused to cover it.

This is huge news. I can tell you that I think if there was an eye doctor in some town that refused, or not refused, but that saw certain patients of one color or of one race in one room and then another race in another room with a different standard, that would be front page news. But in this case, because it’s live babies being killed and the abortion argument and political correctness disallows us in this country to have an honest discussion about the things that are actually happening.

This is what we’ve come to. We can’t discuss the murder of grown women and babies in our country. At the score, at this point it’s scores of them. I mean, the guy got rid of all the records. We don’t know if it’s a hundred or a thousand or what it is.

As Malzberg observed, Gosnell could be the biggest mass murderer in the history of this nation, but some in the media still don't care.

Since this killer is a Halfrican there can be no adverse publicity about him before or after his trial which is okay with the mainstream media.

The truth is that all abortionists are like this guy.

When we were in sixth grade we came upon the truth of abortion. Like sixth graders, we wanted to know everything about everything, and we talked about this a lot more openly than Bill O’Reilly, Hannity, Savage and Steve Malzberg (bless him) combined. We’d figured out that it was a matter of dismembering with some sort of severing device and then vacuuming.

Sixth graders.

We didn’t think about out of womb abortions, it was all murder of children by their parents, to us, and NOT just the moms.

So, to this day, and as horrific and revealing it is to find out the story behind this little man/doctor one of many, what?

In the words of Mona Lisa Vito (which means life), and in a Brooklyn accent:

Of course the media isn’t going to cover this. It would be too much of a threat to their vaunted right to abortion. Too many people would see what Gosnell did and possibly start turning against abortion, and the pro-abortion forces in the media can’t have that.
