An arrest has been made in the Boston bombings investigation based on two videos showing images of the suspect, a federal law enforcement source told CNN's Fran Townsend.
Boston University graduate student Lingzu Lu has been identified by the school as the third person who died in Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon.....

Local speculation on Seattle radio is that they do have him and are in process of charging him but was not supposed to be leaked and so was retracted.
Well...OK, they’ve got to have the facts straight so at the very least they don’t wind up looking like idiots.
But I am suspicious of the ideological motives of the group culture at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, Al-Jazeera, Radio Havana, Gaza TV, etc. A bomber of color who is at war with Western civ doesn’t fit their template of what constitutes the greatest danger to society.

Thats just not true. We’ve had domestic terror incidents going back over 130 years. You’re only dealing with recent history.

Using a phone to set off a device would certainly seem to be a big no no, if you don’t want your name on a list of people to check out.
Like you mention, even being on a phone at a sight would seem to cause you grief too.
It very well can be the case. I hear a reporter on the radio who was furious that someone in the government leaked out the info the authorities were looking for one person. Even a journalist on Fox was quite angry that the info was leaked to the public. Have to wait to see how the investigation goes now that there are so many conflicting reports.

My bet is that officials knew something was planned, but didn’t want to announce it. That there were government “minders” present to keep an eye on suspects (such as the “inocent Saudi national) and that one of them tackeled the suspicious Saudi national and turned him over to police until he was “cleared” by the Royal Saudi family.
It will be interesting to see what is spoon fed to the media and what some good reporters report on and ask questions about. This all could be the work of an individual, but it looks like there was “a team” bomb planters and lookouts and that would cause communications traffice that NSA would pick up and so there were “minders” present to monitor some of the “team.”
If I saw someone with a big bulky backpack like that, I would be wondering why they would bring such a big pack to lug around all day long. It would cause me to take note.
I will tell you that some of the photos that pop up after these events, cause me to ask question as well. I don’t know when those photos were taken, or at what event they were actually taken at.
The angle on those shots of back pack carriers in the crowd also cause me to wonder who took them. They seem to be shot from elevation. Are people taking photos from office windows? How do they know who to take photos of?
I don’t know, some of this stuff gets blurry for me. Other parts of it, not so much. If those seal guys were there and carrying back-packs, I’d like to know why.
Doesn’t really matter what their template is. Once the suspect is arrested, he is who he is. Of course, if its a Muslim, they’ll start with the “religion of peace” crap. If its a white male, then he’s instantly anti-government / homophobic / racist, and whatever else. But we already know that.
Regardless, they’re (CNN) already looking liked idiots for falsely reporting an arrest.
The photos seem to confirm a dark skinned " man.
Must be a rare breed of Amish.
Or they are waiting for Obama to arrive in Boston tomorrow so he can announce it at the memorial service.
