From Tea Party:
Patriots, the beginning of our #DCIntervention yesterday came with great success, but there is still much work to be done. Today the Senate will vote on diminishing the authority of the 2nd amendment through expanded background checks and it is important that you make your voices heard.
If you care about the Constitution and want to see it upheld, we need you to call today. If you value the future of our republic, then you know it takes the participation of the people to keep the power hungry politicians in Washington in check. If you have never made a call to Congress before, it is never too late to start. Today, we need you to help us spark the #DCIntervention.
The following Senators are on the fence on the gun control vote today. Please call them after you have called your Senators:
Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R- NH): (202) 224-3324 Sen. Richard Burr (R- NC): (202) 224-3154 Sen. Susan Collins (R - ME): (202) 224-2523 Sen. Mark Kirk (R - IL): (202) 224-2854 Sen. John McCain (R - AZ): (202) 224-2235 Sen. Patrick Toomey (R - PA): (202) 224-4254 Sen. Mark Begich (D - AK): (202) 224-3004 Sen. Mark Pryor (D - AR): (202) 224-2353 Sen. Max Baucus (D - MT): (202) 224-2651 Sen. Mary Landrieu (D - LA): (202) 224-5824
‘If youre the president, member of congress, govt. agent, etc, the only reason why anyone should listen to what you say, is because you exercise power via the Constitution’.
‘If the Constitution doesnt count, you dont have any legitimate power, and should be (forcibly) removed for trying to exercise power you dont possess’.
Hi Cowgirl, I’m curious which ‘tea party’ this came from? teaparty.net, teapartypatriots, teaparty.org, Tea party News Network?
Some of these groups have been hijacked by lobbyists with very different agendas than the grass roots tea party.
They identify themselves as Tea Party Patriots.
According to this poster, who is involved with tea party express, Tea Party Patriots is compromised.
I know teaparty.net is and Teapartynewsnetwork, taken over by k street lobbyists.
And then we have this today from tea Party express.
Unless it is a local TEA PARTY group that you attend DO NOT, imo, have anything to do with any of the ‘email/internet’ tea parties...they are SCAMS!
Please don’t misunderstand me. Thank you for putting out those phone numbers. They need to be called. I bet the email you got also asked for $$$...they ALL do, and when you get on one, your email/name is given to all the rest..it’s kind of a club thing they got going on in their ‘virtual’ offices.
