Feinstein: ‘Show Some Guts!’ (w/video)
National Review ^ | April 17, 2013 5:51 PM | Eliana Johnson

Posted on 04/17/2013 5:01:13 PM PDT by Red Steel

As the Senate debated the merits of an assault-weapons ban, an emotional Dianne Feinstein urged her colleagues to “show some guts” and vote in favor of the measure.

“I am really chagrined and concerned. If anybody cares, vote at least to prospectively ban the manufacture, the sale, the importation of military-style assault weapons,” she said in remarks on the Senate floor.

Feinstein is the author of the assault-weapons ban, which was defeated earlier today by a margin of 60 to 40. The compromise on background checks introduced by GOP senator Pat Toomey and Democratic senator Joe Manchin was also defeated, 54–46.

They did show guts Ms. Fienstein. They chose to stand up for the Second Amendment, against anti-Constitutionalists.

Sit down and shut up you moron.

Those who voted “NO” DID show some guts Diane and defeated that unnecessary legislation.

Don’t worry folks, they will be back with more and more until they get their end result, full confiscations.

Now, Biden opens his fly trap and claims they plan to go forward with their original plan WITHOUT the law passing.

Time to remove that tin hat.

The worst interview heard this week so far was Barney Frank’s comments to CNN the morning after the Boston attack. He said the lesson to take from this terror attack was that big government is what makes this country great, as illustrated by all the government agencies working together after the bombing.

Of course, that spitting fool never admitted that the federal government is a worthless enterprise if all it can do is clean up the debris after failing to keep its citizens safe from attack, its major constitutional duty.

Dianne, I have bad news for ya. The problem is, your fellow Senators DID show some guts today. They actually stood up for the rights of the American people for a change. And good for them...including the DEMS who helped in that decisive, bipartisan defeat handed to your AWB.

As I said elsewhere, I feel that Dianne needs to “show some guts,” in the ritual fashion of past Japanese leaders who, upon such a total failure, atoned for their failure via seppuku (also called harakiri)? .

Dianne, Show some guts!

And you know it has to be a bitter pill for Feinstein to know that more than a dozen of her fellow Dems helped defeat that abomination she was proposing. What better way to rub a little salt in the wound than to acknowledge that?

Feinstein is the author of the assault-weapons ban, which was defeated earlier today by a margin of 60 to 40. The compromise on background checks introduced by GOP senator Pat Toomey and Democratic senator Joe Manchin was also defeated, 54–46.

A popular talk show host, once remarked that Feinstien would be more in her element as a brassiere saleslady in a department store. I think that Savage was correct. Whatever is she doing in the senate?

She comes across as an ignorant loud mouth and bully, does she not?

I believe a Republican did vote for it. I didn’t check the list, but as a long suffering conservative Republican in the sorry state of Illinois, a vote by our “fiscally conservative” RINO Mark Kirk went the way of the gun grabbers. Apparently a close call with his mortality hasn’t gotten him to see things right yet. Combine this “moderate” with Dick Durbin and you know the Land of Lincoln long ago went by the wayside.

Considering that I’m glad that the thing failed, what do you think?

I’m glad these gun control bills failed and I’ll give credit to Republicans. when a political group votes 98% the way you want them to , for freedom and against these evil bills , and then that’s not good enough well we know their agenda.

98% of R’s voted for freedom and that made the difference

you all r like the media, 1 exception and that’s the rule to you all. 1 idiot of out 330 million people shoots up a school so ban all guns( media “logic” which is bs) . so one votes the wrong way off with all their heads according to you all

we have to look at percentages nothing is absolute or perfect

And you know it has to be a bitter pill for Feinstein to know that more than a dozen of her fellow Dems helped defeat that abomination she was proposing.

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that 90% of the rats who voted Nay, are up for re-election in 2014. You can always rely on rats to vote in their own self interest, when they're not voting to overthrow the US Constitution.

Thanks Red Steel.
Feinstein urged her colleagues to “show some guts” and vote in favor of the measure suspending the Constitution.
